La Llorona

Part 2- It all began here

On September 8th, 2012, 3 kids decided to wander around a graveyard in the middle of the night to test their bravery and courage. The graveyard was pretty normal except for one spirit that roamed around there. La Llorona. I was actually at a pretty young age at that time but, I was curious."Was this spirit real?" how will we prove to people that we saw her?" One by one, we got frightened.

First was my older brother. As soon as we entered the area, there was mist everywhere and it was pretty dark compared to the other places. He was freaked out! Then, it was me. I couldn't hold it back any longer! I was very frightened. The, I heard something, something in the graveyard whispering, "Ay, mis higos!"(Translation- "Oh my children!") The, we all screamed in fright when we saw a figure, a white figure floating in the air. La Llorona.  We nearly fainted at the sight of her. She was slowly floating towards us until she was 2 inches away from our faces, we fainted. I woke up an hour later to see no one in sight. Both of my siblings were gone. I was in search of them, about to burst into tears. Then, I found a gate, it was a rusty, old looking gate. I pushed it with all of my force but it did not open. I decided that I would go to La Lloronas grave and there she was, La Llorona, standing in white, holding my brother and sister in her hands. She whispered"Finally! the day has come, I finally get more children. I was hoping for one but, I got 3." My brother and sister both had blank expressions on their face.  I felt like all hope was gone. Suddenly, an idea popped into my head. I had to do it. I was going to do it. Many people said not to do this but, I was ready. I counted down and when I reached 0 I screamed, "LA LLORONA!" I had gained her attention and she quickly dropped my siblings and floated towards me. I let myself be taken. Then, I felt a pang of pain in my head and in my entire body. She had taken over. I was La Llorona.
