I walk through the halls of Queen Emit's palace towards where she would stay in her home. I sent the vampires after the Fae, who would most likely be in the training grounds.
"Are you looking for me? Ivan."
I turn so quickly, I thought my head would snap, to see my love. She looks the same as always. My Fae warrior. The Queen, Fair Feedback.
"My love, I need your help please."
She laughs and it sounds so different to how I remember it. It sounds evil.
"You were always stupid, Ivan. You are no Fae and you can't be my king no more! Leave before I kill you!"
"Fair, that's enough! I give you refuge and you turn people away when they are asking for help from you. That is cowardice!"
I smile. Queen Emit always spoke what she thought and gets into trouble for it. But it's the truth. I bow and say,
"My Queen. I am here on the behalf of my Mistress, Anubis-sama."
"What does she need?"
"I need your and the Fae's help."
She nods and turns towards her adviser, Lala Johnson.
"Collect the Fae and bring them to the Great Hall for a speech."
Lala nods and runs down the hall to the training grounds. We walk towards the hall and wait for the Fae warriors to assemble. Emit walks to where Levi and Hazel were and greets them with a bowed head.
"Hello King Levi. You know me as Queen Emit and you know Ivan! He's the sweetest and greatest warrior in the world. However there is one thing that you didn't know I am Fair's older sister."
They look at Emit wide-eyed. I laugh at their faces. Idiots.
