"Ow!", I moaned as I watched the others play basketball for PE. I'm so lonely! I am seriously going to die out of boredome! I almost dozed of in the warm sun on my eyelids until I heard someone talking to me. "Are you ok?", I looked up and saw Jacob standing beside me looking at me worryingly. "I'm alright, by the way, what are you doing here?" I asked, Jacob and I are in different classes so it's rare seeing him outside. "I went to take the map for the teacher" he said until I noticed a big map he's holding behind him. "This is one of the perks of errands, you can always take detours whenever you want" he said smiling at me. Come to think of it, this is the first time I've seen him smile. I looked down before he noticed me staring at him, he looked at me curious then looked away. "Um, I can stay here for a while if you want" he said looking straight at me, "you don't have to do that!" I said looking down blushing. "I want to" he said sitting down beside me. "Th..thanks!" I managed to stammer a reply and tried avoiding his eyes. Weird, why am I so embarrassed just by looking at him? We stayed like that for a while.
I'm so embarrassed I could die! I looked at my lap and saw Jacobs shadow, I reached out to touch it until I was shocked by one of the nosy shouting at me for the ball back. Dylan came running toward me and stopped in his tracks once he saw Jacob beside me. "Hi" he said taking the ball, he started glaring at Jacob but he just kept his cool. I blushed slightly and looked down. "Well, I guess I should get going then" Jacob said while he stands up and walked away. He turned back at me and said "Take care Iris" then left. "What was he doing here??" Dylan asked suddenly after Jacob left, "he was just keeping me company" I said blushing a little. "What?! You should have told me! I could have stayed here with you! " he said sitting down beside me.
One of the boys called Dylan to give the ball back and he threw it with incredible strength. I was so amazed that he had such strength! "I can keep you company" he said looking at me blushing. After class we went to eat lunch.
