I had a blank expression on my face for a long time. I mean how could he believe that summer deserved more then him? He wasn't always a gentleman when he slept with girls. Plus he wouldn't treat summer that way, stupid idiot. How he made things hard for himself, you'd think he would be cockier!

The sound of my ringtone suddenly brought me out of my deep thought. I jumped, I could see Mitchell and Benjy chucking. Assholes! I poked my tongue out at them before answering my phone

"Give me hey ho, I don't know"

"I do seriously wonder about you Gracie Louie" Hayden chuckled

"Is that why your hair lines residing hay bay?" Haha now it was my turn to chuckle

I could just imagine his face, all sad. Haha sucker

"Now that was just mean, my hair line looks better then you!"

I gasped "No way did you just say that?!"

"Hell yes I did Grace"

"What do you want Hayden?" I was now annoyed

Hayden sighed "I was wanting to know of tommy have you a call asking about bowling"

Should I tell him what Tommy said? I mean it wasn't really for me to say. Gosh this was hard because as much as Tommy and pissed each other off we were best friends. I must have been silent for a long time because my brothers were looking at me funny and Hayden's voice was yelling through the phone

"Grace are you okay? Grace?" He sounded frantic

I composed myself "sorry I was deep in thought, yeah tommy did. I had an odd conversation with him. I really don't know if he's okay Hayden" I sounded worried even to myself.

Mitchell and Benjy gave each other a look, must be a brother thing. Although it looked like they were rapists, weird.

"I'm at home, why don't your brothers drop you over and we'll talk? They can stay if they like"

"Of course they will drop me off, I'll see you soon"

"That's great love you Grace!"

"Love you too Hayden"

When I look up I'm staring into the eyes of Mitchel, "You know we share the same eyes so there's no need to stare at the beauty of mine" I can hear Benjy laughing to himself.

Mitchel gives me a sour look "Grace you have got to be kidding me, why do you have to talk to him and not us?"

I sigh, "Hayden isn't just my boyfriend he's my best friend, he knows everything about me and still accepts me"

Benjy looks at me funnily " we accept you baby sis"

I laugh "you have to, we're family. Hayden accepts me even though he doesn't have to, just like the rest of our friends Benjy."

Benjy looks pissed "we are not dropping you off"

I must have looked pretty shocked because his eyes hinted remorse "Well Benjamin I guess I will just walk over when we get home" I cross my arms over my chest

"Gracie Louie don't you start Benjamining me"

Before I can retaliate Mitchel takes a hard left flinging me into the door. "Mitch ouch!!"

He looks frustrated " we are taking her to Hayden's, then we are going home"

Benjy looks like he wants to argue but stays silent, Mitchel has spoken hence that's what we're doing. It's weird but that's what happens when Mitchel puts his foot down.

Not too long after I see the faded blue of Hayden's two story house. Out the front of his house there is a beautiful pathway that's covered by beautiful tree canopies. I see Hayden sitting on his porches swing. Rocking back and forth to the rhythm of the gentle whispers of the wind. He looks gorgeous.

I hope out of the car breathing in the fresh air. That's when the low hum of the window being wound down is heard. slowly I turn around to look at Mitchel

"Yes dear brother?" I smile as sweetly as I could

He tried giving me a reassuring smile "Have fun and call me when you want to come home."

Before I could say anything Benjy gives me a sour look. He could a lemon a run for it's money "I want just talking, no sex. Not even touchy feely!"

Benjy and Mitchel high-fived and then left. I was completely shocked and speechless.
