Connor Murphy and Evan Hansen don’t seem like two people you would ever see hanging out.  But, in reality, they’ve known eachother since senior year in high school.

Connor was a school druggie and scared kids like Evan.
Evan was as shy, anxious and overall just stuttering mess.
But, they got along and worked it all out.
They met when Connor stole one of Evan’s letters and freaked out.

Evan had gone to the park to read and study on trees when he found Connor with a bottle of pills and a rope.
Evan instantly told him to stop. Connor whipped around and saw Evan before starting to cry.
“Why do you care…?” Connor said through tears and quick inhales from crying.

“B-Because.  Think of ho-how many people would miss you..Th-think of what it w-would do to others..”
Connor dropped the pills and looked down.
Evan shakily approached the taller male, holding his signed and casted arm close to him.
Connor looked at the shakey smaller boy, “Oh god...I did this to you..I scare you...This is why I’d be better off dead.”
Those words sent chills down Evan’s spine, “D-Don’t say that!”
Connor was shocked the small, anxiety ridden boy had the courage to say that how he did.
“Just..Don’t. I know what thoughts like that can do to your mental state...If you need someone to talk to, come to me.  That letter you took was something that was assigned to me by a doctor I go to…” Evan nearly whispered the last part.

Connor had no words, but his body shook with sobs as he looked down, using his face to conceal his tears.

Evan started to walk closer to Connor, hoping to calm him down and then go on his way.
As Evan got close enough to move Connor’s hair, Connor looked up and latched onto Evan, his long and skinny arms wrapping around the smaller male.

Evan was shocked and it took him a moment to even realise what was going on.  Despite the fact that Connor smelled strongly of weed, that and Evan was a little scared of Connor, Evan hugged back, trying to calm the sobbing tree-like boy.
Connor took a few deep breaths as Evan had instructed and pulled away from the shorter male.
Evan, although he would never say it, kinda missed the taller males warmth.

Connor wiped his eyes and looked at Evan and apologized.
Those breakdowns happened for both boy’s more often than not as the years went on.

Now, they’re seniors in college who have been dating for 2 years.

Evan first came out to Connor as bisexual on their first year of college.  Evan had run into his room after telling Connor to stay where he was on the couch.

Evan ran back out, almost tripping, (he didn’t because of Connor) and was holding a bisexual pride flag.  Well, more like he wrapped himself up in it.

Connor was happy that Evan trusted him enough to tell him something as serious and personal as this.
Connor came out to Evan as Pansexual a few months later and Evan was delighted.
They then started dating two weeks later.

Evan and Connor were happy together, but they hadn’t kissed yet.
So here they are, in the park where they first met, sitting in a tree.
Evan was trembling in fear. He hated heights, and ever since he broke his arm, he was terrified it would happen again.

Connor felt Evan trembling and was growing worried, “Baby, you ok?”
Evan shook his head, “N-No...I-I have a problem wi-with heights..”

Connor wrapped his arms around Evan, trying to calm him.  It worked….briefly.

But, leave it to Evan’s nerves to make him scared again.

He started shaking soon after Connor hugged him, and Connor thought of other ways to calm his small boyfriend.
Connor came up with an idea and told Evan to look at him.
Evan did, “Wh-what i-is i-”
Evan was cut off by Connor’s chapped lips pressed lightly against his.

Evan squeaked in surprise at the feeling, but soon turned around to face Connor and wrapped his arms around the taller male.
The night for the two males was filled with sweet kisses, cuddles and movies when they went home.
So sorry this took forever to publish!
