Chapter three
Brennen POV
-Saturday-
I was sitting on my couch. I was petting Kobe and texting Rylie. She was beautiful. I was always thinking about her. It was kinda weird. I only knew her for a few days but I have like a crush. I don't know. Clover and Kobe got along. Which was good. I check the time. It was 3:45pm. I get up and shower getting changed.

Getting ready. I grabbed Kobe and we left to go downstairs. Riley was picking me up. She was sitting in her car Clover in her lap. She was on her phone. "Hey gorgeous. Clover!" I say petting him. Him an Kobe went to the backseat. "Hey Brennen. Yo, is it cool if we stop by the store? My mom needs a few things." She says. "Yeah, no problem." I say buckling up.

She parks and we go into the store. She was looking cute AF.

"Should we get this one or this one?" She says turning to me holding up two bottles of BBQ sauce! Jack Daniels and sweet baby rays. I cross my arms. "Hmm! Jack Daniels." I say. She nod grabbing another bottle and putting them in the cart. We went on to get pickles, Hawaiian rolls, and she got some Swedish fish, I got Peanut Eminem's. Then we got tea and checked out. She has a nice car. It's a mustang. Older model.

1969 Boss 429 Mustang. She even had surround sound speakers. I love this car. We put the groceries away. Kobe and Clover Rolling around in the back seat, being cute.

We walk in the front door it smelled good. The house was opened up. Two men were in the backyard at the BBQ and her mother and Olivia were in the kitchen making some food. Colby was also with the two guys in the back.
"Hey mom we got the stuff." She says. I smile. She was very beautiful. Her blue eyes were like oceans in the sun, Her smile could light up a room. I shake my head. I hand her mother the bag smiling. "Hey Brennen." She says hugging me. I hug back obviously. "Hey Frankie." She smiles. "Well the boys are in the back talking go on ahead you two." Her mother says. Rye smiles grabbing my hand and leading me into the backyard. I looked at our hands the whole time. I kinda didn't want her to let go. "Hey papa." She says letting go, hugging him from behind. He was sitting in a chair at the grill. "Brother!" She says. "Sister!" She hugs him. "Hey koala." She says. "Dad, Boe this is Brennen me and Colby mainly Colby I guess, Friend." She says. I smile. She is too cute. Her father stands. "Hi, I'm Ron." He says. I smile "hi. Brennen!" I say shaking his hand. "Good grip." He says. I nod. "Hey names Brian!" Her brother says. "Hey, nice to meet you man." We do a bro hug. He hands me a beer. Which I accept. Rylie snags a beer clinking our drinks. They started to talk about the game. I wasn't really paying attention. I was getting distracted. She was playing with the dogs in the grass. Kobe really liked her. She sees me and smiles. I look down smiling. I walk over. "So, How do you like my family?" She asks. "Feel out of place yet?" She asks. "Nah!" I laugh. She stands next to me. We watch the dogs play around. "Look at our children! They grow up so fast!" She says Laughing. I laugh with her. "Yeah, That's for sure." "Rylie mom needs you!" Her brother, Brian says. "Okay. Later Brennen." She says. "Later." I say. We watch her walk away. "So, you like her?" He asks suddenly after a period of awkward silence. Do I. I might. I think I do. "Yeah, I think so!" I say. "Just don't break her heart okay! Cause, If you do. I'll fucking kill you." He says. "I won't."
I say. I look at him and shake his hand. We walk back I sit and talk with the boys.
Colby POV
I think Brennen likes Rylie. I mean who wouldn't. She was absolutely beautiful. Her smile, her eyes, her hugs, her laugh. Everything. All I Want is for her to be happy. If you think. This is the girl he likes. It's not actually. I love her but not in a romantic way. Or that's what I tell myself anyways. I'm very protective of her. I hope he doesn't hurt her.
Rylie POV
"So, tell me. This Brennen guy. You like him?" My mom asks. I blush a little. "I don't know." I say smiling. "You do!" Olivia. "Shut up!" I say laughing. We giggle. "What are you lovely ladies laughing at?" My dad says kissing my mom. I see my brother look at Olivia. I raise a brow. Haha. I knew it. I walk over to Colby and Brennen. "Sup!" I say slinging my arm around Colby. "Sup."

We ate dinner and dessert, then we went to the living room and talked, music playing in the background. I had a good day. Brennen was on my mind a lot today. I kinda like him. I just don't know if he likes me back.
