Proposal (b.h.)

"Come on Y/N! He's totally going to propose tonight!" My friend, Y/F/N , practically squealed in excitement.

"I don't know." I shrug. I mean we had been talking about it but like I don't know where Ben's head is at.

"Dating for 3 years...and then the guy ghosts for three days and suddenly wants to go on a 'romantic' date..Y/N that practically screams proposal." She laughed.  I chuckled softly and shook my head before looking at the text that just came up. It was Ben saying he was here.

He told me to dress nice so I slipped on a medium length black dress, some silver hoops and a necklace he gave me paired with some simple black heels. (don't at me , i'm like so bad at dressing nice 😂)

"When you come home I can guarantee there will be a ring on that finger." Y/F/N teased as I walked out the door. Ben was waiting by my side, the passenger because he always insisted on driving, and opened my door. I gave him a quick kiss and thanked him before getting in the car and buckling up.

We drove a ways before stopping at my favorite place. The boardwalk we sat at a table with food already set. Throughout dinner I could tell he was off but whenever I brought it up he dismissed it. This silent setting gave me a chance to really admire this wonderful person. I was so lucky.

After dinner we walked away down the beach barefoot. Our shoes were by the table. We suddenly stopped. I frowned and looked at him.

"Everything okay bubba?" I ask, furrowing my brows. He nodded and took a deep breath and placed a soft kiss on my lips before kneeling down.

Well damn, looks like Y/F/N was right.

"Y/N I love you so flipping much (this is a family show ;) ) and these past three years have been the most magical experience of my life. You have made me so happy and have totally changed my life in the best way and I ca never thank you enough." I smiled softly as I looked down at him, a few tears falling down my cheeks.

"Don't cry sweet.." He frowned, i just shook my head and he chuckled before continuing. "My family loves you and I love you. So..."

Then he pulled out the box and opened it revealing the prettiest ring. Holy Crap...this was actually happening.

"Will You Marry Me?" I smiled and nodded. He quickly placed the ring on my shaking finger and got up and kissed me deeply. I backed away slowly and smiled up at him.

"God I love you."

"I love you too"
