*tick tock, tick tock*

The sound of the clock ticking could be heard at an unholy hour of the night. You and your co-worker had the late night shift, a.k.a the "graveyard shift" once again.

As she counted the cashier drawer, you could feel her glancing at you from time to time. She knew you were bored. Nobody ever came in at this time of night except for one person.

You sighed for the umpteenth time that evening and she knew you were thinking about him.

Min Yoongi.

Yes, you read that correctly.
Min Yoongi. One of the 3 rappers in the worldwide famous boy band: BTS.

You guys had dated for about 6 months and from the time you were a fan till your dream of becoming his girlfriend came true, you were madly in love with him even if [insert bias] is your bias of the group.

You had your heart set on the Daegu rapper. You were still in love with him even after what he's done to you. But, your heart couldn't stop hurting. You couldn't stop thinking about him.

Even if you distracted yourself with work, your mind would still wander to him and worry.

Is he okay?

Is he getting enough sleep?

Is he eating well?

You know he's at least eating because he still comes in the same time as before: 11:11 PM. Buys a bowl of ramyeon and a drink. You used to always ring him up, but now your co-worker does. And what do you do?

You hide. You hide below the counter so he doesn't see you nor do you see him. It's getting too hard to pretend you were strong when you were hurt.

You felt bad for your co-worker for having to deal with you and your emotions. You always go to her to rant about how much you still love him and wish to be the one supporting him and his members.

So, you've been trying to keep in your feelings lately so you don't bother her even if she says otherwise. You looked at the clock and sighed once again.

It read 11:09 PM.

Two more minutes.

You had dropped your pen while twirling it and bent down to pick it up when you heard the doorbell ring signaling a customer had walked in. You were about to stand up to greet them when your co-worker said, "Oh hey, Yoongi. You're early today."

That was your cue to keep hiding as your heartbeat picked up speed at the sound of his name. He answered, "Yeah... I couldn't write lyrics for our new song so I'm taking a longer break."

This was your only happiness and the only way you could hear his deep, soothing voice again that could easily put you to sleep when your mind kept running.

You were thankful for your co-worker for always making a conversation with him even when you know she hates his guts.

          "Oh... Writer's block?"
