"I was 19 years old. I had gotten arrested for assaulting a man. I didn't mean to actually hurt him. Well...I kinda did, but that isn't the point here." The man said as he scrunched his nose up. He was explaining what had happened to him years ago. That's as if anyone cares about his existence anyway.
He would've bowed, but he could barely do so since he couldn't move as much. He was still paralyzed and it hurt him even worse when he tried to move.
"What is your point then, Joon-ssi?" Jungkook asked as he crossed his arms across his chest. He looked down in the elder and huffed his breath.
"Jungkook, I already told you this two years ago. This is actually for Taehyung to hear. Taehyung, may I have a word with you, in private?" Lee Joon asked as he held out his stiff hand, barely able flex it.
Jungkook quickly slapped his hand away and pulled Taehyung toward him. "I don't think so. If you have something to say to Taehyung then you can say it in front of both of us!"
Joon held his head down in embarrassment. He had a lot of explaining to do, as if it was going to make a great difference.
"We both know that if I talk to Taehyung then you're going to interrupt. I came here to apologize to both of you personally, mainly Taehyung because he had nothing to do with this." The elder admitted as he smiled at the two.
"Are you sure you're not going to try and roll over me in your wheelchair?" Taehyung asked jokingly, well barely.
Lee Joon snickered, but his smile quickly faded away as he saw Jungkook glaring down at him.
"If you touch my boyfriend I'll kill you, and if you're lucky I'll kill you peacefully." The younger growled as he walked his way into kitchen.
"We can talk in the living room." Taehyung told as he and Lee Joon made their way into the living room leaving Jungkook behind. Taehyung didn't feel quite right being with Lee Joon, his ex boyfriend. It almost brought back terrible memories.
"Go ahead. Speak your tongue." The younger sighed, not wanting to really hear what the elder had to say. He felt as if he was just wasting the time he could've been spending with his boyfriend.
Lee Joon cleared his throat as he rubbed both of his hands together. "I've been doing a lot of thinking lately. I know I shouldn't even be here right now, but I'm here for closure, okay? The hate you have for me is an understatement. I would hate me too if -"
"You are a liar. You're also a seductive manipulator who preys on people whom I used to be. I'm not that Taehyung anymore. So you can't just come into my house and make excuses for your selfishness." Taehyung proclaimed in a fierce matter.
Lee Joon closed his mouth, not knowing what else he could say to get on Taehyung's good side.
"I get it. There's nothing I can say or do to make it up to you." The elder said before pulling out a pocket knife and handing it to Taehyung. "Here."
The younger stared at Lee Joon in confusion as he took the knife from him hesitantly. "Why the hell are you giving this to me?" Taehyung asked as he stared at the elder.
"I want you to kill me."
Taehyung's eyes widened at the elder's sudden words. Killing was the last thing he wanted to do to him. He'd thought about it so much. Now he finally had the opportunity to do so.
"You want me to kill you with a pocket knife?" Taehyung asked seriously as he continued to keep the knife in his grasp not thinking of letting it go anytime soon.
"Yes. If you have a gun then use it on me. I want you to have closure. I want you to kill me like I killed you mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Do it Taehyung." Lee Joon demanded. It was his final demand he would ever tell Taehyung to do.
"I-I...why are you really here?"
"I told you why I'm here. I want you to kill me. It's not easy being me anymore, Taehyung. You of all people should know that. Do you think I want to be Mr. Lee Joon? Do you think I was born this way?" Lee Joon asked in a more serious tone before covering his face with his hands.
He was crying.
And there Taehyung stood, dumbfounded and confused. Where was this Lee Joon three months ago?
"Joon stop it. Stop it right now. Take this and leave. That's my closure, I accept your apology. Now could you please leave." Taehyung commanded as he walked into the kitchen where his boyfriend was standing.
"What happened in there?" Jungkook questioned curiously. He didn't even know what to think of it. It all happened way too fast for him to comprehend.
"He asked me to k-kill him, Jungkook. That's what he wants for closure. He asked me to take his life with a pocket knife." The elder explained which left Jungkook speechless and even more confused than before.
"Why couldn't he just ask me that? Or anyone for that matter. Why couldn't Lisa just kill him when she pulled the trigger?" The younger rolled his eyes as he walked into the living room to find Joon with a knife pressed against his wrist. "Lee Joon!"
Lee Joon stopped in his tracks as he spotted Jungkook staring down on him. He had never seen Joon in this state. He thought he would never in a million years see him cry.
"I just wanted to talk to you both. I'm really sorry and I want to make a s-sincere apology." Lee Joon confessed as he planted his knife onto his lap.
"A rag is still a rag, no matter how many times you wash it." Jungkook frowned as he held Taehyung my his hand.
"You need help, psychologically." Taehyung told Lee Joon as he latched tighter onto Jungkook.
"I know the perfect person."
A/N: As you may not know already, this is a sequel to Innocent. I decided to do this a month before I ended the book. The reason for this is because I want two sides of each story. Innocent was a story based on Taehyung's experience. This is based off of Lee Joon.
No it won't be just about him. I will go more in depth with Namjoon and Jin's relationship and how it will reflect from the previous book.
This will also include Jimin and Yoongi's marriage and the secrets involved between them and Namjoon.
Jay Park will also be in this story much more than the last one.
And last but not least...Jackson and Mark are married. ❤️
