Memories (Gene and Dante's sister) (Aphmau MCD FanFic)

Chapter 6

~Y/n~

"Dante, I think there's more to this power than we know. And the only person I can ask about that is-" Dante cut me off. "Gene." He finished. I nodded. "Other than that, I'm in control of my magicks." I told him. "That's good." He said. I nodded. "Let's go back-" I was cut off again because, when I turned around, Laurence was right there. "Hey Laurence. How much of our conversation did you hear?" I asked. "I followed you guys out here." He answered.

"Wait, you're a Shadow knight. Did you by chance meet Gene?" I asked. "Yeah. He's not a good person. How do you know him?" He asked. I guess we never mentioned that in the conversation..... "He's the one who ruined our lives." Dante answered. "Why do you need to ask Gene about your magicks? What kind of magicks do you have?" Laurence asked. "I have the same power as Gene. And, he's my brother." I replied. "But isn't Dante your brother?" He asked.

"Yes. And so is Gene. Gene is my older brother." Dante answered for me. "Come on. Let's go ins-" I started feeling really dizzy and I passed out.

Laurence asks too many questions. "Come on. Let's go ins-" Y/n was saying before she passed out. I was behind her so I caught her. "Y/n!" I called worried. I tried waking her up. "Bring her inside." Said Laurence. I carried her inside in a hurry with Laurence following behind. We went up to where everyone else was. "What happened?" Aph asked worried as she ran up to where I stood with Y/n. "I'm not sure. She just passed out." I answered.

"It's because she removed the curse. She used too much magicks." Explained Lucinda. "What?" I asked. "These two weren't waking up since they were under the effect of a curse. Waking them up is the only way to break the curse. That also means, even with magicks, it would super hard to wake them up. Witchcraft can't help. Love and strong magicks are the only ways to wake them up." Lucinda explained. "So, she just used to much magicks?" I asked. Lucinda nodded.

That's a relief. I thought it was something super bad that happened. I then heard someone coming up to the floor we were on. I turned to see woman. "Hey Azura." Said Aphmau. So that's Azura? "I got the notice. Is Lord Burt okay?" She asked, concerned. "I'm fine." Burt answered. "What happened?" Azura asked. "Lord Burt and Lord Luke were cursed and were being held in the well at Pikoro." Aph answered. "What kind of curse?" Azura asked.

"We're not exactly sure but it's a hard one to break. It can only be broken by them waking up which isn't easy at all." Lucinda explained. "But, they're both awake." Pointed out Azura. "That's because the curse was broken." Said Garroth. Then, I felt Y/n move a bit. I looked at her to see her eyes opening. Once her eyes were completely open, I put her on the ground so she can stand. "Who're you?" Azura asked Y/n. "You look familiar." She added.

"My name is Y/n." Y/n answered. "That's why. I happened to catch a glimpse of something that was sent to the O'Khasis guards. I hear you're a new guard. One that graduated early." Remembered Azura. "Yeah...." Y/n trailed off.

This must be Azura. So I guess word was sent to the O'Khasis guards in Bright Port too. She seems to know a bit about me. I turned to Lord Burt. "You're bit having troubles remembering anything right?" I asked him. He shook his head. That's good. "Why would I have troubles with my memory?" He asked. "No reason. Just being sure." I replied. Then, Azura left with Lord Burt back to Bright Port and Lord Luke went back to Pikoro after trying to talk to Lucinda.

"Hey Y/n, I didn't know you had sleep magicks." Commented Lucinda once Lord Luke and Lord Burt had left. "What?" I asked. "Magicks that can wake people up or make them sleep." Luci explained. "I don't." I said. "Then how do you explain waking up Lord Burt?" She asked. "Luci, I don't have sleep magicks. I have magicks that can alter someone's memories." I explained. "That power can be really dangerous if you can't control it." She warned.

"I know and I can. Well, I didn't know I could also wake people up from curses..." I trailed off. "Like I said, it can be dangerous. Do you have someone who can help you. Maybe a parent who has the same magicks?" Luci asked. "My parents don't have magicks. And even if they did, I couldn't ask them for help. They wouldn't remember me. All their memories were erased." I replied. "You erased their memories!? That must've been before you could control it but still." Garroth said shocked.

"I didn't. Someone else did." I responded. "So you know someone who has the same magicks? Maybe they can help you." Suggested Lucinda. "He wouldn't help me. It's my older older brother Gene. He's- he's a shadow knight. He purposely made me and Dante suffer." I said. I took a quick look outside. It was dark. "I think we better get to sleep. We have to travel back tomorrow." I suggested. Everyone else looked outside then nodded. We headed back to our tent and slept.

I woke up bright and early. I wasn't the first person though. Laurence was already awake. Soon enough, everyone was awake. Aph went to get Logan then we started heading to the Bright Port wolf tribe village. It took a couple days but we finally got there. The first thing I noticed was a wall built around the tribe. Once we arrived at the gate, I saw a girl with dark red hair and grey eyes. "Hey Nicole." Said Aphmau. "Hello Aphmau. I decided to help the tribe with defence while you were gone." Said the girl Aph said was named Nicole.
