[Ophelia's P.O.V]

"What?!" I said looking up from my purse. I found myself looking into a beautiful pair of hazel eyes "Need any help?"

"I... I uhmm" I stuttered. I was just standing there like an idiot, dumbfounded at what or rather who I was looking at.

I was still staring into his eyes not saying anything, so Sara decided to speak instead "She'll have a passion iced tea and an espresso for me please" she smiled politely at him. I don't know what happened to me, I was usually never like this. But he was just too beautiful.

Sara took the purse out of my hand and pulled out my wallet. She put the purse on the counter, while I was still just standing there. I must've looked like a complete idiot.

He smiled awkwardly and scratched his neck. God his smile was so perfect, I've never seen anything so beautiful before.

"You sure you don't want the vanilla latte? It's very good" He smiled awkwardly. You could tell he was new to this. "Sure we'll take the vanilla latte" I said smiling back at him. My voice came out quieter than I anticipated. He smiled sweetly back at me and went to make our drinks.

After about 5 minutes of waiting, we got our order. I smiled sweetly at him and turned my back at him starting to walk out of the shop.

"Hey!" I heard someone yell from behind me. I turned around to see the boy from the shop jogging towards me. "You forgot this" He said holding my purse in his hand. I smiled gratefully at him. "Thank you" I grabbed the purse and turned around again "My name is Ethan" I smiled to myself before turning back around again.

Sara had already left the store and went outside to wait for our Uber.

"Nice to meet you Ethan" I said, still smiling. It felt like I couldn't stop smiling but I'm pretty sure I held it together rather well. I didn't tell him my name, that was just one step closer to my heart getting broken, and I was not going through that again

I took a good look at him. His hair was dark brown, almost black. It was styled messily but it looked good. He had the sharpest jawline I have ever seen. I mean he could probably cut a stone in half with that thing.

He had earnings in both ears. I normally didn't like it when boys had earrings, but it looked really good on him. I mean I'm pretty sure anything would look good on this guy!

"Hello?" he said snapping me out of my trance. Shit, I was staring. "Sorry" I smiled awkwardly "What were you saying?" He chuckled at my question. God, it sounded beautiful. Stop it Ophelia, focus!

"I was just asking if you maybe wanted to hang out sometime?" He asked. He didn't seem nervous which I don't know how I felt about. Did he do this often? I hoped not, but at the same time, I did. I didn't have time to get my heart broken again, so it's better if I just stayed away.

"I don't know, maybe. I'll see you around Ethan" I said, and with that, I turned around and walked out of the store.

"I didn't catch your name" I could hear him yell after me. I kept walking, smirking to myself

As I walked outside I couldn't help but smile to myself. This is bad, really really bad. "What are you smiling about?" Sara asked smirking at me when I got to her. "Oh nothing" I said trying to stop smiling, it didn't go very well. "Okay now you HAVE to tell me" she said punching me lightly in the arm. I laughed, and grabbed my arm, pouting at her dramatically.

I told her what had happened and she punched me in the arm again, harder this time. "You did what?!" She said punching me once again. I swear this girl always punched me. I was like her own personal punching bag. Mental note to myself, get new friends "I said that maybe I'll see him around" I shrugged. I didn't see the big deal. He was probably a player, I mean you could tell just by looking at him. No boy that perfect looking was a good guy. I learned that from experience

"So you literally just turned this EXTREMELY hot guy down?!" I nodded, "I can't let myself get distracted again, Sara. Not after what happened last time. I just need to stay clear of boys and focus on my career" I said looking at her.

She nodded understandingly, she knew I didn't like talking about what happened so she didn't ask any more questions.

[Sara's P.O.V]

I gently nudged Ophelia the side of her ribs. "Would you stop!? I'm looking for my wallet" I smiled apologetically at the guy patiently waiting. I nudged her in the ribs again, a little harder this time. "What?!" She hissed, almost yelling at me. She finally looked up and her eyes immediately fell on the guy.

"Need any help?" he said. They were looking very intensely at each other. It looked like a scene from a movie. I chuckled lightly but none of them noticed, they were too busy staring at each other."I... I uhmm" She stuttered. I was about to burst out laughing, it was really funny watching her being so awkward.

"She'll have a passion iced tea and an espresso for me please" I smiled at the guy behind the counter. He smiled awkwardly and scratched his neck. "You sure you don't want the vanilla latte? It's very good?" Wooww this dude was definitely new to this job. I was just about to decline when the lovely Ophelia decided to speak. Mark the irony "Sure we'll take the vanilla latte" She smiled at him.

I really wanted to punch her in the arm. I didn't want a vanilla latte, I wanted an espresso.

5 minutes later we finally got our drinks and we were about to leave. "Hey" I heard a voice yell from behind us. Ophelia and I turned around only to see the guy from behind the counter, jogging up to us.

"You forgot this" He said holding Ophelia's purse in his hand. Of course, she forgot her purse, this literally feels like every cheesy teen romance movie ever made.

"Thank you" she grabbed the purse and turned around again "My name is Ethan" The dude said to her.

I decided that I was not about to stand here being the third wheel, so I called for an Uber and went outside to wait.

5 Minutes later Ophelia came walking towards me a huge smile plastered on her face. "What are you smiling about?" I smirked at her "Oh nothing"
