Day 4

Today was lonely. Oh, how I miss Shining Armour and fear for him. If Chrysalis is going to steal his love for me to get power, how could she get power from it? Unless she steals his magic too. I don't want to think about it. Today was pretty much a case of trying to see if there was a way out; there wasn't. The only thing I could do was sit there and starve. No pony will find me in these caves. I love Shining Armour. He's all I can think about while I'm here. I just want him to be safe.

So I was thinking all these things when- "SHINING ARMOUR LOVES YOU VERY, VERY MUCH!" Chrysalis yelled, shown on every single crystal. I sighed nervously, but in relief.

"That's...great?"I smiled unconvincingly.

"Do you not love him?" hissed Chrysalis, her sharp teeth going into an evil grin.

"I do, it's just...you don't." I considered what I said and realised it sounded slightly weird.

"He's your fiancée. Why should I love him? I just need his love to feed my kingdom!"

I looked at her in despair. "Kingdom?"

"Well, duh, I'm a Queen, what do you expect?"

I paused before speaking and thought about it. "I don't know. Maybe it's because we don't have many Queens."

"Well, I have to go and fake my love for him, get to meet Twilight and her friends and get married to him."

"Then will you free me?" I asked hopefully.

"No." And she was gone.
