Eddie was on his way to the first script reading. Next to him Ben Hanscom, who he met a hour ago. They will be both playing big roles in the movie.
Ben, a little chubby, very lovely and a typical book lover. He isn't really famous. He just started his acting career 6 months ago.
"Are you as nervous as i am?" Ben asked Eddie, who was casually scrolling through Instagram.
"No, not really, but I get it. It's your first big role." Eddie tried to speak in a soft voice. He thought it would sooth Ben.
Eddie layed his phone on his thighs and turned himself to Ben, whose palms were sweating.
"Hey, i get it. You're nervous. I mean it's your first big role and you don't know what will happen. God i don't even remember when i felt that nervous."
Ben calmed down. Eddie's speech made him feel confident.
They still chatted a little after, until they fell into a comfortable silence.
Their silence got interrupted by Ben snickering.
"Why are you laughing?" The brunette one asked. He squinted his eyes at Ben.
He didn't even know why he was laughing, but seeing this lovely guy's smile would make everyone creep a smile on their face.
"It's just... that hearing these words of the Edward Kaspbrak." the older one snickered looking down at his hands.
Words like these made him happy.
Eddie loves being in the spotlight and everyone seeing him as someone famous.
"Oh call me Eddie. I prefer this name more, when it comes to friends."
the petite boy smiled at him.
"I would love to tell you my nickname, but i don't have one since my name is formed out of three letters-" He got interrupted by sweet giggle filling the car.
"I can already see us getting along the next two months."
"Yeah me too. Nice to hear that I'll have at least one good friend." The chubby boy smiled.
"Oh come on! You will probably be friends with others." Eddie tried to encourage him.
"Like who?" Ben asked, fiddling with his fingers. He never really had friends, that's why he found his passion in books and history.
"I don't know." The first person who popped up in Eddie's head was Richard, but he didn't wanna say his name.
"Like Richard Tozier?" Ben asked. He clearly didn't know that Eddie hated the handsome trashmouth.
Eddie got mad. He remembered he'll be in a movie with him. Two months having to live with this dumbass.
Eddie shifted on his seat, clearly being mad. Ben saw it, which made him, as a friend ask "Hey what's wrong?"
Eddie was lost in his thoughts, but got interrupted by the blonde one.
"Yeah, it's just that... I dislike Richard. He's just so ugh." He sighed.
Ben saw through him. He knew what's wrong. Eddie is jealous.
"Yeah it's cause you're jealous." Ben smirked, making Eddie shout
"No, I'm not!"
"Why would i even be jealous, i mean there's nothing-" Eddie complained, but got interrupted again.
"Mr. Kaspbrak, Mr, Hanscom we're here."
