Normani sighed, curling up on her bed, it's been almost a month and she hasn't seen or heard from any of the girls.

She picked up her phone and checked it to see is she had missed any messages from the girl's but sadly she hadn't.

Just as she was about to put her phone down, Camila's face appeared on the screen.

Normani answered it quickly. "Hello?" She asked.

"Mani..." Camila sounded breathless, like she was running. "Mani... Q was hit by a car."

Sitting up, Normani felt her heart drop. "W-what?"

"Q has been hit by a car." Camila repeated. "Can you meet us at the hospital?"

"The twins," Normani breathed out, running a hand through her hair as tears fill her eyes.

"Mani, drop the twins at my dad's house and then meet us, please." Camila begged.

Taking a deep breath, Normani nods her head before remembering Camila can't see her. "Okay, I-I'll be there."

"Okay. I'll see you soon, yeah?" Camila asked. She sounded panicked.

"Yes." The dark-skinned girl says immediately before hanging up.

It wasn't long before Normani arrived at the hospital, walking into the emergency room and finding Camila.

"Where is she? Is she okay?" Normani asked worriedly.

"She's in surgery." Camila responded. "Her leg was shattered when she got hit."

"What the hell happened?" Normani breathed out, tears in her eyes as she moved over to Camila.

"She was walking home from the grocery store and some idiot hit her. I got a call from some stranger using her phone." Camila pointed to the family standing beside the coffee machine. "Them, they called me."

Normani moved closer and wrapped her arms around Camila. "Did you call the others?"

Camila nodded. "They are on their way. Hunter is coming too."

Two years later.

Normani sighed as she got off work, she had gotten a job at the local diner and had been working late.

"Hey, how was work?" Quinn asked as Normani sat down on the couch beside her. The blonde usually stayed awake for Normani coming home from work.

The dark skinned girl frowns and shakes her head, that usually signifies she's had a bad shift.

"Oh." Quinn looked down. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have asked." She shook her head.

Sighing, Normani runs a hand through her hair and moves over to Quinn. "Don't apologize."

Quinn released a breath and relaxed when Normani wrapped her arms around her and pulled her onto her lap.

"How was your day?" Normani asked softly, running her fingers through the blonde's hair.

"I spent most of it on the couch so, y'know, it wasn't the best." Quinn muttered, resting her head on Normani's shoulder.

After the accident Quinn's leg had been so badly broken that she couldn't walk.

"Did you not have therapy today?" Normani asked softly, kissing Quinn's forehead.

Quinn shook her head. "It's not like it's working." She muttered to herself.

"It will, give it some time baby girl." The older girl whispered, nuzzling her neck.

"I have given it time. I've given it two years." Quinn responded, looking down at her hands.

Rubbing Quinn's back, Normani sighs and kisses her shoulder. "I know, but it can take time with the amount of damage that was caused."

Quinn sniffed, not taking her eyes off of her hands. "I give up." She breathed out.
