Angry words fall from my mouth like waterfalls,

Chains bind me to the floor.

I can see my reflection bleeding out on the linoleum.

My heart is a fragile paper sculpture.

Easily burned by even the smallest fire of affection.

Eyes watch from every corner

To see if I make a mistake, the first ones to ridicule me.

Hatred spreads like moss over an abandoned building.

Fury builds from within like a lightning storm of evil.

I see myself laying on the ground, much like the last leaves of fall.

The light darkening from sunset beauty to the darkest void.

The crimson liquor in the golden chalices of the gods above.

Clouds spill into my lungs as I gasp for breath,

The bright heavenly lights of the hospital room spill into my broken eyes.

Angels clad in hospital gowns do ballet through the halls.

Bound by unseen strings.

Clinging to their lives by an empty tether.

Golden gods covered by the pale form of humanity

Our life is no longer ours from the day we are born.

From the first breath to the last we are screaming fruitlessly to the sun.

The inevitable perish of this universe is within us.

We are our own saviors-

and our own destruction.

Weeping we fall to the earth-

Falling endless

Endless..

Until we are

Gone
