~Day 1~

*BEEP BEEP BEEP* I groan and look at my phone to check the time. -5:00am- i lay back down still groaning. At 5:10 i get up and take my shower and get ready. I walk to the bathroom and turn the hot water on and let it warm up while i take my night clothes off. I enter the water at first it burns me but i got used to the temperature of the water. After 30 minutes or so i get out and wrap my fluffy red towel around my body. I walk to my sink and wipe the mirror to see my reflection i look good enough for someone who only slept 3 hours. I roll my eyes sarcastically while i start to brushing my teeth. I exit my bathroom to find my you dog Nevins in my room laying on my floor waiting for me.

"Hey Nevy" i say to him as i walk to ny closet to find something to wear. I look to my clothes contemplating what to wear right now it's cold outside so i grab some jeans from Forever 21 my Uggs and a turtleneck sweater that my dad got for me from france. The texture is amazingly soft and non itchy its a lavender color goes great with my complexion. Once im dressed i do my hair in a slick back low bun i love this hairstyle makes you look so professional and fun. I grab my phone, my jacket and my bag and i head out. As i walk out i admire my car it's beautiful to me I've always wanted it ever since i laid eyes on it when i was about 9. And now that i get to drive it everyday for the rest of my life it feels like a dream come true. I hop in my car and put my bag in my passenger seat. I connect to carplay and play some music. I hit shuffle and Best Part By Daniel Caesar and HER

I started to sing along as the song played. A few songs later i got a text from my bestfriend Amaya Jane or Aj as i call her. I picked up when i pulled up to a red light.
"Hey Aj!" I said with much excitement but she jist groaned
" Why are you so happy, its like 6 in the morning, anyways can you come pick me up I'm late for class and the train is gonna take forever." I heard her shuffling around meaning she was probably getting ready
"Of Course I'll be there in 10" i said as i turned right at the green light and hung up the phone.

When i pulled up to her house i honked twice. A couple minutes later i seen her coming out the house in some sweats, uggs and a very oversized hoodie and a jacket. She had more of a chill and boyish way of dressing you could say. She came towards the car and i unlocked it so she could get in. Once she was in i started to drive off.
" you look terrible" i said to her while i looked ahead
"Yeah i know i didn't get to sleep busy studying for finals" she said with her eyes closed leaning her head on the window.
" i can see that" i said with a small laugh. The ride was in a comfortable silence until we got to the school building. Once we got out we headed our separate ways i only had two classes today which was english and Psychology, honestly my two favorite classes. 

While i entered my English lecture i seen some of the people i talk to sitting in our usual area so i go sit next to one of the girls her name is Jessica shes really cool.
"Hey, how was your weekend?" I asked her while taking out my notebook and pen while the professor was writing something on the board.
" it was good" she didn't sound so sure about that statement. I knew that she's been having some problems with her family I didn't want to push.
"It's gonna be okay Jess, you just have to be strong. I know that's hard to be strong for everyone but they need an example to follow, of they see you like being the strongest person that i know you are then they will too." I held her hand and rubbed her back while she had her head down on the table.
"Thanks Amour, I appreciate that a lot" she wiped her eyes and lifted her head.
"Anytime Jessica." I smiled at her

The professor had started the class it went on for about an hour and a half then it was done i had some time in between my second class so i went over to the Cafe around the corner to get something to eat. When i entered i seen Mrs. Arrindell(use for now) she and her husband had owned the cafe for about 40 years yes that's how old this place is but it doesn't look like it. I love this place it's so vintage and i love it. I've been coming here since i was in highschool we've grown closer over the years.
"Hi Mrs.A, How are you?" I say going over to the counter where she was
"Ah Amour, i'm good, I haven't seen you in so long. Where have you been" she said smiling up at me. She was a short women with white hair and a petite body. Her husband had passed about 6 years ago from Cancer and ever since its just been her here she would hire people but they wouldn't stay for long.
"I've been good Mrs.A just studying finals are starting soon."
"Yes that's right i had some kids from the college here studying for hours on end I had to get them to take a break for a moment because they started to look like zombies." she started to laugh.
I remembered she told me that she had a son so i asked about him.
"Hey how's your son, I Remember you saying that he had got a divorce recently." I said while i sat down at a table with her.
"Yea he did, it was finalized last week. So it's really official, my grandson is supposed to come down here this week he finished with his classes and his finals" she smiled, she really is a family person she really loves her family. But im sure she would love the company and the help.
"Hey Amour, i need some help around here you know my last employee quit the other day so i need someone to help me around here. My knees aren't how they used to be." She looked at me with a smile, the corners of her eyes wrinkled. How could i say no to her she practically raised me when My parents weren't there.
"Of course i would love to." I smiled as i placed my hand on hers. She smiled and clapped for joy
"Great can you start tomorrow?"
"Yes i can be here by 11am"
"That's perfect, i will see you tomorrow. I'll bring you your usuals." She went off happely into the kitchen. I sat there on my phone just scrolling through Instagram. She came back out and handed me my food and drink. I thanked her and sat there quietly. Time went by and i seen the time i got up and said bye to her and headed back to school for my next class.
