I woke up kind of refreshed. I had got up earlier than my alarm which allowed me to just sit and relax before starting my day. Around 9am i got up and decided it was time for me to get ready so i went into the bathroom and turned on the hot water. While the water warmed up i stripped from my sleeping clothes. I decided to wash my hair today looked nice out for some reason. In new york the weather has a mind of its own first it could be cold as heck and the next be real fall weather. Today looks like one of those days.

I got out the shower and just dabbed my hair a little with a towel so it wouldn't be dripping wet the whole time. My natural hair is curly so i just wrapped it in a towel and headed towards my closet to look for my outfit of the day. I decided on some ripped jeans, my Jordan ones the bred toes and a red top with a leather jacket with the fur inside. I left my hair in its natural state when i got downstairs i seen my mom in the kitchen making breakfast my dad must've still been sleeping because i didn't see him anywhere around the house.
" Good Morning Mom" i went over and kissed her on the cheek
"Good Morning babygirl, how'd you sleep?" she said while making bacon which is totally my favourite. She had finished the eggs and pancakes, she made some toast because my dad does like pancakes. (i dont know whats wrong with him, who doesn't like pancakes) i made my plate when she finally finished the bacon when i sat down my dad walked sleepy inside the kitchen he went straight to my mom and kissed her. Most kids would've been like eww but i find it adorable how they are in love with each other. When i finished i said my goodbyes and went to my car.

The ride to school was relaxing just me and the sound of the car humming while i drove. The streets was kind of quiet no honking or nothing like that. When i arrived at school i parked my car and i walked to class. My Speech professor had been doing the slides so the class just sat there chatting among one another while he did that. I nsaid in the front row like i did from the first day of classes. About 5 minutes later class had started. He just talked and talked and talked it was so boring like what can you talk about for 3 hours straight with no break. I almost fell asleep about one hour into the class. I got up and went to the bathroom and on my way i seen the usual students that i see this time of day. When i got to the bathroom i went into the stall. A couple of seconds later 2 girls came into the bathroom. And started to talk rather loudly shall i say. But from the voice i knew who it was Aubree Mckinley and Kimberly Maevel the two "Popular girls" shall i call them.
"Like OMG did you see Tristan Masters, he's still so H.O.T!" Aubree said to Kimberly.
"Yes i did girl, He is drop dead gorgeous." she said like she was about to faint.
" i seen him talking to Amour yesterday, they seemed pretty intimate to me. Especially after what he did to her"
"Really, she was such a hoe anyways im sure she would go back to him in a hurry. He doesn't want her. He definitely wants me." she made a pop sound, which i'm guessing she was applying some lip gloss. Once she finished what she was saying i came out of the stall. the y both looked startled and kept very quiet while i washed my hands. I gave her one look and they both left the bathroom quickly. I just stood there laughing. I walked back to class to finish out the rest of the class when he finished he told us that next week we would be having our finals. Classed ended a little early so i strolled around went to the library to look for some books. When it was about 10:45 i walked over to the cafe. I'm honestly excited to work here. I had a job at pink but i didn't really like it the girls were just so into drama i don't have time for that. When i walked into the cafe it just felt right , it was warm and welcoming. I seen Mrs.A cleaning some tables i told her that i would do it for her. She told me to drop my stuff off in the back and i did. When i came out she gave me an apron it was a burgundy color which is so cute. While i was cleaning up and fixing the display someone walked in i didn't look up until someone cleared their throat. When i did man i tell you i seen a calvin Klein model standing in front of me.
"Hi, how can i help?" i smiled politely at him not trying to make it seem weird that i was just staring at him for what felt like 10 hours.
"Im looking for my grandma." he said looking into the back of the cafe
"I she here?" he look at me very impatiently i mean what can i say he looked good very very good. I don't usually be this forward but i mean if you seen him you would have the same response as me.
" Umm, yea she's in the back right through there" i pointed to the hall that led to her office.
"Thanks" he gave me a small smile and walked toward the office. I mean he's really cute. A couple minutes passed by and a couple customers came in the store hit didn't stay long. I heard laughter coming from behind me and it was Mrs.A and her Grandson i never got his name.

"Oh yes let me introduce you guys, Nolan this is Amour,Amour this is Nolan" as she pointed in between us.
"Nice to meet you Nolan" i gave him a smile
"You Too Amour" and he smiled back. We just stood there staring at each other. Mrs.A cleared her throat and that broke our eye contact. I awkwardly laughed and started to clean something even though it wasn't dirty. Sje quietly laughed to herself as she walked back to her office. Nolan stood there just looking around.
"I remember this place from when i was little, it has not changed one bit." He started admiringly at the cafe
"Yea it really hasn't, and I hope it doesn't ever change." I smiled looking around not noticing that he wasn't looking at the cafe anymore but at me. I cleared my throat.
" so how long are you gonna be here for?"
" i don't know yet, I've always loved New York and wanted to live out here maybe now is my chance to do that."
"Yea it is beautiful here" after awhile conversation just flowed some customers came in but not too much some tourist came in and they just happened to be french.
"excusez-moi, pouvez-vous me dire où se trouve le train le plus proche?" they looked between one of us i answered them.
"oui, il est un bloc en bas et puis tournez à droite" she smiled and nodded at me.
"Merci beaucoup"
"de rien" i waved as she and her family walked out of the cafe
"So you know french?" He looked at me surprisingly.
"oui je le fais, c'est ma langue seconde" i said while he looked at me confusingly.
"What?" You can tell he was blushing he looked a little pink
" i said yes i do it's my second language"
" ohh so im guessing your part french?"
"Yes i am"
"Wow that's cool i only know English and a little spanish from when i took it im high school."
"sabes español"
"sí, solo un poco" he smiled at me. He has a wonderful smile
"muy agradable"
"Sí" we both laughed after that.

The rest of the day went by quick next thing i know it's time to leave. While i'm packing up my things Mrs.A told me i could have some stuff since they were gonna get thrown out, i grabbed a blueberry muffin, a chocolate Muffin and a croissant. When i turned around Nolan was right behind me so i bumped into him.
"Ha sorry about that." I say trying to go around him but he stopped me from walking out of the cafe. He was nervous because he kept rubbing the back of his neck
"So while i was back there talking to my Grandma she kept telling me that we should... ughh" he took a breath and started talking again
"She said that we should.. well i should ask you out on a date." He shyly looked at me
"So will you go on a date with me?" He gave me a small smile. He looked so cute, how could i say no to that face. But I couldn't just be an easy catch so i played hard to get.
"Let me think about it." I grabbed my bag and then walked to the door of the Cafe. When i reached the door i turned around slowly and gave him an answer.
"Yes, i would love to go on a date with you." And i smiled a bit too largely i might add. His smile was bigger than mine.
" okay so I'll pick you up at 8 then."
"Yea that's perfect." I waved bye to him as i walked to the parking lot. When i got into my car i started squealing. I had a good feeling about him. I really hope its right. When i got home i think you know what i did with this marvelous news. If You guessed calling Aj then you're right!
*Ring Ring Ring*

Aj❤️: Ugh dont call me that, you know i don't like that name. She rolled her eyes
Me: whatever i've got some exciting news to share with you!!!!
Aj❤️: Ouu what is it ?!?!
Me: I. Got . A . DATE !!!
Aj❤️: With who? when? Why? How? Where ?
I started cracking Up
Me: His name is Nolan, tomorrow at 8, because he wanted too, he asked me, at Mes.A cafe. He's her grandson.
Aj❤️: Ohh Mrs.A I havent seen her in forever how is she, i need to go visit her. But Awee, im happy for you amour. Haven't seen you this happy since taco tuesday in highschool.
For the rest of the night we just talked and talked about anything and everything. We eventually hung up because it was way too late. Once i got off the phone with her i layed with my eyes closed. I was just about to fall asleep and my phone chimed.
Unknown: I can't wait till tonight
Me: Who is this??
Unknown: Oh yeah i forgot you don't have my number yet. Its Nolan
Me: Duhh im extremely tired right now sorry, but how did you get my number?
Unknown: My grandma gave it to me, she was very excited when i told her about the date lol
Me: Lol awe, i'm Sure she was.
Unknown: Goodnight beautiful❤️, you can get your rest now.
He is too cute got me blushing.
Me: Goodnight Nolan☺️
I saved his number before i went to sleep Nolan🥰💗. I went to sleep right after that with a huge smile on my face.
