I woke up in a good mood already and was in a greater mood because class was canceled so i got to rest a little longer. When i woke up once again it was about 1 in the afternoon. I decided to go to the mall to look for a new outfit for tonight. Wait I don't even know what i'm supposed to wear pr where we're going. I'll just text him and find out.
Me: Hey i just wanted to know where we were going so i know how to dress
Nolan: Well that would ruin the surprise wouldn't it
Me: Well just give me a hint please
Nolan: Just dress how you would usually dress wear sneakers though that's all i will say for now.
Me: Okay Fine
After i finished texting him i texted Aj to see if she wanted to come with me to the mall. She also said that she was meeting up with Ava i told her she can come too. I know there's something going on between them two, i'm gonna find out soon enough. I decided to dress regular today so i put on a denim long jacket with some leggings and my Human races. I put my hair up in a bun i went downstairs to see my mom and dad on the couch in the living room watching tv. I went ober to them and hugged them.
"What put you in a good mood honey"
"Well i have a date tonight" my dad gave me a look while my mom was smiling from ear to ear
"With who? I wanna meet him"
"Alexander please, She's grown i'm sure her father doesn't have to meet him" my mom laughed hitting dad in the chest lightly.
"Yes he does if he wants to take out my baby" he looked at me sadly
"She's all grown up now" He starts to fake cry on my mom's shoulder. Me and my mom both start laughing. I told them that i was on my way to the mall with Aj. Then i left to go pick up Aj and Ava. While i was driving I decided to blast my music. I put on girls like you by Maroon 5 and Cardi b i love this song. I started singing loudly while driving down the street. A couple minutes and songs later i arrived at Ajs' house i honked twice she shell know i was there. I was on my phone scrolling when i heard the car door opening i look up and Aj was getting in but also so was Ava in the backseat. Hmm i knew something was up I'll ask her about it later.
" Hey Guys ready to go shopping! " I say to them as i started the car.
"Hell yeah" is what Ava said but Aj wasn't so happy. Like always. I drove all the way to the palisades mall in jersey. Its big and has a lot of stores. We just played some music and talked about anything and everything on our way there. When we finally arrived at the mall i went right too h&mi wasn't looking for anything specific they didn't have what i wanted. I went to some other stores i got a pair of jeans from Pacsun, i bought some tops from h&m and Forever 21. Then i went to look for some shoes i got a pair of Vans and another pair of jordans. I also went to pink and got some underwear and bras. I went into forever 21 and i seen this amazing dress it was a body con dress and was strapless i had a perfect outfit in mind for it. The girls also got something too. Once we decided to leave it was about 5 o'clock. I dropped off Ava and Aj they told me to text them and let them know how it went. I got home and took a shower. I decided on wearing some pants with a patch on it then a cream colored top with my sean witherspoon air max. I looked at the time it was 7:30 i hurried and out put my hair up with some pieces hanging out in the front by the time i finished that i heard the doorbell ring and all of a sudden my heart started racing. I made sure i looked good and ran down the steps but i was too late my dad already got there before me. He tried to look intimidating which was a total fail and then realization hit him. Uh oh
"Nolan, Nolan Adams! No it can't be. Wow how are you son." He went to give him a hug and nan hugged him back.
"Mr. Laurent, i haven't seen you in a long time how have you been?" If you could see my face right now i look like them very confused
"You know eachother?" I felt like i was going to faint. Is it hot in here, just me yeah i thought so.
"Yes, i know his father we went to college together. Then when i started my business i found out he had one as well we are partners."
"Oh Well, Yayy for that" i said sarcastically. Now dad is never going to shut up about me going on a date with Nolan. So I decided it was time to go. I grabbed nolan and walked out the house saying a quick goodbye and love yous to my parents. When we reached his car he opened the door for me. Then ran around and got in.
"How come you didn't tell me you knew my dad?" I said looking at him with much curiosity.
"I didn't even know your last name, My grandma never told me." He smiled sheepishly.
"Now he's never going to stop talking about you and how we went on a date." I sighed
"He might also tell your dad probably called him right after we left." We both started laughing.
"Yea you're probably right, they are really close." He started telling me stories of what his dad told him about my dad and him while they were in college. They sounded inseparable and crazy, I didn't know my dad would or could do those kinds of things. We laughed the whole way to the place i didn't even know we were here. Once we got out i looked at the sign on the building
"Harpers Arcade" i looked at him questioningly.
"Yes I figured you wouldn't want a clique date like a movie and a dinner or just going out to eat so i said why not come here i heard its the best place. Am i wrong do you want to go somewhere else." He was so nervous.
"No it's perfect I don't do clique." We walked inside the arcade and it got loud but a nice loud everyone was laughing and playing all the different games. We ate first because we both haven't eaten. We ordered some pizza, wings, and some sodas. We ate for about 30 minutes didn't want to rush. When we finished we decided to go get some coins and play the games.
"What game would you like to play?" He asked while we both looked around.
"How about...Ski Ball?" I looked at him for approval, he nodded and we both walked over to the only one that was opened. We both took turns going, chatting it was fun. We found out they had a laser tag arena upstairs and we couldn't turn that down we were on teams of 4. I honestly had a blast playing. Around 11:30 we left. The car ride home was silent but a comfortable one. When we arrived at my house it was dark inside so my guess was that they were sleeping. He came out the car and when i was about to open my door he opened it before i could.
"Thank You." I smiled at him.
"You're welcome milady." We both laughed. He walked me to my door and we stopped and faced each other.
"I had a great time tonight it was so much fun." I decided to speak first.
"So did i, so does this mean that i can ask for a second date?" He looked at me with a sly smile on his face.
"Hmm.. i don't know does it?" I put a finger on my chin acting like I was thinking. We laughed and then just started at each other.
"So Ms. Laurent will you go on a second date with me?" He just looked so cute.
"Yes i will Mr.Adams"
"Great i will let you know when and what time." I gave him a kiss on his cheek and we told each other good night he must've waited till i got inside to leave. I guessed right though my parents were asleep on the couch with the tv on. I kissed them both and went to my room. I changed into my sleeping clothes and went to lay down. I had a huge smile on my face the whole time. Once i got settled into my bed i heard my phone vibrate. I looked and it was a Text from Nolan.
Nolan: I had a wonderful time tonight, can't wait to do it again.
Me: So did i & me neither.
Nolan: Good, now get some rest. Goodnight Beautiful❤️
Me wanting to be daring and brave replied
Me: Goodnight Handsome❤️
After that i put my phone on the charger and went to sleep.
