"Mom! Dad! You can't be serious!"
"Yes we are! If want to have the babies you can, but not under my roof!" My father shouted.
"Mom." I whimpered. My mother stood behind my father holding her head in her hand sobbing quietly.
"Mommy?" I asked again.
She moved her hand wiped a eye and said,"Clarissa Jeanette Pitts just leave!" I gasped taken back at my mother's words.
I looked at my fathers angry expression and my mothers hurt serious one,"Fine!"
I stomped up my bedroom packing up my bedroom and the few things the two infants owned. I shoved things into the suitcase violently crying while doing so.
I left the twins in my room while I put things into the car that had once belonged my sister.
I went back into the house heading up the stairs with my head down to avoid eye contact with my parents. I collected Rose and Kenneth that were fast asleep in their car seats and took a final look at the room that once belonged to me.
"Clarissa!"I grabbed the two car seats containing the two month old babies.
"Why are still here!" My father scolds.
"I need money!" I shot back.
"I ain't giving you a penny!" He yelled.
My eyes became cold, "You want me to die? I need money! Not to go shopping but survive I am just doing what Lizzy-"
"Clarissa!" My mother grabbed the wallet from my fathers back pocket and threw cash at me."Leave!"She cried.
I took a steady breath,"You know. . . I never thought my parents would do this to two beings who are so helpless and little that you- that you'd - what if ?" I started to cry and picked up the cash and ran outside to the car.
I buckled their car seats in and I fumbled with the key but eventually started the car and drove to a nearby gas station and parked. I cried loudly hitting the steering wheel as hard as I could, yelling as loud as I could. I heard the babies Rose and Kenneth crying as well but I was to worked up to do anything about it. I was crying until I heard-
"Mommy!" I jolted awake panting and sweating. I breathed heavily and observed my surroundings realizing it was just a nightmare, I noticed the worried three year old that sat awake beside me.
"Why is Mommy sad?" She questioned. For a three year old she has a good grasp on the english language, my opinion.
I swallowed, took a breath and layed down pulling her with me,"I'm fine baby, go back to sleep." I whispered in her ear.
Minutes later I hear her steady breathing and I know she's a sleep,"Kenny, Rose I love you. . . Happy Anniversary.
