chapter three

It was not long before Jungkook had crashed out in Taehyung's car. His mouth gaped open slightly, soft snores escaping from his rising and falling chest. The seatbelt rested harshly against his pale neck and his head leaned against the window. His face was relaxed and body slumped. Taehyung gave a small scoff yet there was a soft smile on his face as he turned on the music on a soft volume.

His eyes now focused on the ride that was illuminated by the street lights and his headlights. His voice hummed along to the song, a gentle mood to the scenery. Taehyung continued to drive along the rode, passing by other cars, people, shops, and other things. His brown eyes would glance to the boy beside him every now and then but wouldn't linger.

Soon the car would reach the man's given address. Taehyung stopped the car, turning off the engine and turning to the other human being. He gave him a gentle shook, leaning to whisper softly in his ear. "Wake up Kook." He hummed, pulling back after seeing the boy shift. Jungkook rubbed his eyes, looking around to get a clear image of his surroundings.

"Have we arrived?" He asked, making sure he hadn't seen wrong and they have truly arrived at his apartment.

"Yes." Taehyung hummed, watching as the other grabbed his things and opened the car door. Cool air came into the car when the door opened and he faced Jungkook's back. Jungkook got out, turning around before closing the door and gave a small smile to the driver.

"Thanks." He waved, closing the door before jogging into his apartment complex. His mind had many thoughts running through his head as he heard the car drive off.

Maybe he isn't actually that bad... Aish, I don't know anymore.

Taehyung arrived at his own home. He opened the door, looking around the empty, big house. Well, it wasn't that empty as little taps were heard and a small dog appeared. It was only Taehyung and his dog, Yeontan, in the big house which Taehyung soon began to regret buying. He sighed, shaking his head and bending down to pick up his Pomeranian.

"Hello Tannie, did you miss me?" He cooed to his companion, taking off his shoes and putting them on the shoe rack before sliding on slippers. He shuffled into the kitchen with his pup in hand. With a hum, he set the dog down, seeing if he needed to fill his water bowl or not. The bowl was almost empty when Taehyung checked so he went to grab a half empty water bottle in the fridge, pouring it into the bowl.

"Are you hungry, Tannie?" He asked, grabbing a bowl and scooping some food to feed to the dog. Making sure Yeontan was done drinking water, he picked him up, heading to the couch. After settling down, he picked up one of the pellets and held it up to the little dogs mouth, watching Tannie open his mouth and taking in his food. This process continued for a while before Taehyung deemed Yeontan full and fed before letting the dog go run around.

He gave a hum, connecting his phone to the speaker in his room and playing one of his playlists as he made himself a snack. He grabbed bread and some peanut butter. Taking a butter knife, he spread the sticky substance one a slice of bread before repeating his action with some strawberry jelly. He washed his knife and put everything away before sitting down at his bar and munching on his sandwich. Checking the time, he saw it was getting close to twelve. He sighed and finished his sandwich, heading up to his room after turning off the music.

Taehyung took a quick shower, washing his hair and body before drying himself off and changing into pajamas. He dried his hair, brushed his teeth, and put on some face moisturizer and cleanser before heading to bed. He pulled the covers over his head and shifted around a little. A small weight was felt as Yeontan jumped on the bed, padding to Taehyung and laying next to him.

The two cuddled together and Taehyung could soon fall into deep sleep, and escaping into a wonderful dreamland.

Now for Jungkook, it wasn't that easy. When he entered his small apartment, he went straight to his room. He pulled out a small notebook that had pages filled with tips for himself. Each day after dancing he would write down what he could improve and how to improve them then after he would practice the dance again.

This usually lasted for a couple hours till he was satisfied. He would then get a healthy snack like a fruit or vegetable before taking a shower. He would repeat this process every night otherwise it would throw him off. As he started his process, he would think about the events of that day, his mind playing the images over and over again in his head. Jungkook shook his head, getting back on track.

He soon put his pen down, going down the list of written tips before standing up and stretching. He reached down to touch his toes, holding it there before standing up straight. Standing on one foot, he would lift the other, keeping both straight then repeating with the other leg. He sat down, one leg spread out and the other spread out at a different angle. He laid his hands on his ankles then pushed his upper body outwards, continuing to stretch his body.

He did a few more stretches before deeming himself ready to dance. He played some music, waiting for the beat to start before his body moved. He danced across his almost empty room, feet carefully being placed down after being lifted. His body moved with elegance. Even if there was a little stumble in his movement, he would restart his music and his dance, doing back from the top. He seemed alive again, as if the nap in Taehyung's car gave him more energy to continue.

Seconds, minutes, and soon, two hours would pass. It was now one. Jungkook's chest heaved as he sat down on his bed, shirt soaked once again in his sweat. He grabbed a bottle of water by his bed, taking some sips. His body sat there for a while, his mind blank. There was silence surrounding him and the moonlight shone through his window. He took a glance outside the window, the moon high on the air, almost seeming to mock his mortal being.

Pressing his tongue to his cheek, he stood up and closed the curtains, grabbing a shirt and sweatpants from his closet before heading into his bathroom. He made sure the water was warm after turning it on before he even thought about stepping in. He undressed his sticky body, throwing the clothes in his hamper. Jungkook moved into the shower, standing under the warm water as it trickled down his sore body, washing away the dirt and filth of the day's activities.

He reached out and grabbed his shampoo, pouring a generous amount on his hand before scrubbing it into his brown locks. He pulled and tugged at his hair, untangling it before rinsing and repeating with conditioner. His hair was washed throughly and he moved to his body. He washed his arms, legs, chest, and back with his body wash. Jungkook was making sure to wash all the sweat away before he got out, grabbing his black towel and wrapping it around his waist.

He stated at himself in the mirror, a frown on his face while his hand reached out to grab another towel to dry his hair. While doing so, he would also grab his toothbrush and toothpaste, brushing his teeth with one hand and drying his hair with the other. The dancer continued with his nightly activities, cleaning himself before getting dressed.

Jungkook shuffled out of the bathroom and into his bed, pulling the covers over himself to warm his body. He laid his head on the pillow and closes his eyes. It wasn't even that long before he fell asleep, chest rising and falling with soft snores coming from him.

•~*~•
Hello, here is another chapter.
I had watched some clips of MAMA on Instagram and I cried so much. The boys have gone through so much this year that is AMRYs hadn't known about till now.
I think back on it a lot since watching it and I hope they are doing okay now and are watching themselves.
Well, have a nice day, open up when you need to, people love and will care to listen, you just need to speak. If they don't listen then screw them, you'll find someone who does.

Love,
Mystic
