Legend of the Elemental Knights

Prologue: The Legend

Once upon a time, in the land of Skyfall, there was a legend that everyone knew about. From the Countryside of Kanto to the Kingdom of Kalos, people have known about the Legend of the Elemental Knights. Some say that this legend is true, while others find it to be a false myth. What people knew of them was that there were 16 of them each with a different elemental power and when their powers unite, they become a force to be reckoned with. No one in Skyfall knew anything else about them except for the Mage Kukui of the Islands of Alola. Rumour has it that he has seen the knights in the flesh and witnessed their supposed ultimate attacks. Some say it's a lie, while others believe him. What we do know, is that everyone's lives will now change forever.

In the Present Time

Serena sat at her desk reading the Legend of the Elemental Knights, she was always so intrigued by this story. 'I wonder if they really are real?' she thought. She heard the front door knock so she scurried off to answer it. Upon opening it, the honey blonde girl was met with a tuft of dark blue hair. It was Dawn, her friend visiting from Sinnoh.

"Hiya Serena" She greeted.

"Dawn, it's great to see you" Serena replied, hugging her in the process.

"I see you've been reading the legend" Dawn exclaimed, eyeing at her desk. Serena blushed.

"Well, they are so interesting" She explained while closing the door, "I really like the sound of the Electric Knight"

"I see, I like the Bug Knight to be honest" Dawn confessed.

"Really? That would come to the surprise of most people" Serena pointed out.

"Well, you know me" Dawn laughed.

Now, most people would wonder why a Sinnoh native like Dawn is in Kalos. Well, the reason being is she set sail to the Kingdom upon meeting Serena during a holiday. It's very rare for someone of a different area to be in another place unless it's the Islands of Alola. What the girls didn't know was that there was a surprise waiting for them. And it came through a young girl running in.

"GUYS!!!" A small girl with red hair and a green hat cried running into Serena's house.

"Mairin? Is something wrong?" Serena asked.

"Did you not see the Town Mage's message?" Mairin questioned.

"No, what happened?" Dawn exclaimed.

"There's been an attack in the Isle of Hoenn" Mairin explained.

"WHAT???" Dawn yelled, "Is this really true?"

"I wish it wasn't true, but it was" Mairin said sadly.

"Who could've done this?" Serena questioned.

"They said they go by the name of the Rainbow Legion" Mairin answered.

"What could they possibly be doing?" Dawn exclaimed.

Not long after, the messenger caller came running towards the centre of Vanville Town. With a loud voice, he announced that the Rainbow Legion was coming and that everyone had to flee. People were running about grabbing all that they could and making their way towards Ambrette Town. Serena, Dawn and Mairin managed to hop onto the train and were on their way to flee the area.

"Mage Sycamore has used his magic to tell everyone that there are evacuation boats from Hoenn arriving" Mairin said, reading the magical message.

"Huh, hopefully we'll be fine once we make it to our destination" Dawn exclaimed.

"I wonder where we will be going" Serena wondered.

Upon arriving to Ambrette, they made their way onto the evacuation ship. They noticed a girl with light brown locks and a red bandana and decided to move closer. Once they saw her full features, they knew it was their long-time friend May. The girls greeted each other upon seeing them again.

"Is everything okay?" Dawn asked.

"Well, Mum and Dad stayed behind so it's just Max and I" May answered.

"Where is Max anyways?" Serena questioned.

"Oh look, he's coming" May pointed out.

The girls turned to find the small boy with long dark hair and square-rimmed glasses. However, introductions were soon cut short when the group heard a warning telling them that Rainbow Agents have been found on the ship. Attacks could be heard, people were running about, either getting injured or evacuating to the life boats. The girls and Max eventually made it onto one of the life boats and lowered themselves out into the ocean.

"We gotta go fast" May cried.

"Wait, something's happening" Max called out.

They all turned to see a huge flame combusting at the top, followed by a high powered explosion. The initial shockwave sent nearby life boats into a propelled movement away from the shipwreck. The group got knocked out by the force of the explosion and was sent to an unknown destination. The Rainbow Agents looked at the damage they caused, happy at how their mission went.
