In the present
———

[PJM]

"You're an idiot." Yeri said as I pitched my idea to the girls, they all nodded.

"I mean, it's not the worst idea. You're a broke ass who wants change right? This is a decent way to do it." Wendy stated, the others nodded in agreement.

"Why don't you just be a stripper?" Joy asked.

"Or a prostitute!" Seulgi added.

I just shook my head.

"Guys this will be perfect for Jimin, so why don't we just support him?" Irene suggested. Once again the girls nodded.

———

I stood on the street corner, there was a small cafe that was next to the corner so hopefully people would donate their coffee change to a good cause.

I tuned the guitar for the fifth time before beginning to sing one of the songs I was working on.

———

[MYG]

I slid my money over to the cashier who gave me change.

I should really start thinking my money out.

I took the small pile of change and shoved it in my pocket before taking my coffee outside of the coffee shop.

I heard a beautiful voice singing a beautiful song.

"Butterfly~ like a butterfly~"

I made my way toward the voice, a boy.

I watched him, watching people drop coins into the open guitar case in front of him. His shorts went down to his knees and I noticed a small black lettering on his ankle.

A tattoo.

No way.

There was a small chance I knew him.

But I knew what he was.

I made my way to the corner, turning around to face him. I put I finger on his strings to stop his playing.

"Um. Kay?"

"I'm Yoongi." I said abruptly. I looked into his eyes and smiled. "And you are?"

"Jimin..." he said slowly.

"Do you remember me?"

———

"When I was younger I remember dreams I would have." Jimin said as he sipped his latte.

We were back in the cafe.

"Are you in contact with the others?" I asked, rubbing my thumb against the textured band of the cup to sooth the anxiety and adrenaline coursing through my veins.

He shook his head. "No, I mean. Taehyung and Jungkook would've been around my age but unless they have a disguise or got some crazy change, I haven't seen them around."

I'm hummed before taking another sip of my americano.

"So how have you been? What have you been up to?" He asked, making me sigh.

"Nothing important."

"Awe no, there has to be something interesting that's happened. How're your adoptive parents doing?"

"I left when I turned eighteen. Ever since if I'm being honest, it's been really hard."

[JJK]

I looked at the mark on my collar bone. The soft hue of violet it produced made me sigh with anticipation for what was next to come.

Along with the dreams of childhood from last night, I was so sure it was him.

"Sir?" Mr. Soo asked.

"Yes?"

"Your car is here to take you to the academy."

"Alright thanks home slice." I said before the corner of the right side of his mouth quivered upward into a half smile, that was big for Mr. Soo.

"Anytime sir."

I exited the bathroom.

I made my way out of the house and into the black car.

The concierge opened the back door so I could get in before closing it and hopping into the drivers seat and driving off.

I felt a buzz from the pocket of my pants. It was a text from Taehyung.

Taehyung: when are you coming?

I looked out the window.

We hadn't even made out down the long ass driveway.

Jungkook: I'll be at school in 20 minutes.

———

[KTH]

I sighed.

I sat at our table in the cafeteria.

Neither Jackson or JB were around yet. Thank god.

Taehyung: K.

"Hey buddy who ya texting?" JB asked as he slapped my shoulder. My body shuddered.

"Jungkook, just making sure he has our school project with him."

"Oh, are you sure it's not so you can go suck his dick in the gym change room?" He asked before taking a seat next to me.

I sighed and chuckled fakely.

"No, if he was a girl though... I'd already be tryna tap that."

"That's my boy!" Jackson exclaimed. "Finally realizing that you're not gay?"

I tuned him out.

It hit my like a truck.

But I wasn't sure.
