Chapter 6: Treasure Box

"Over here!"

I heard someone shout as they wave their hands. it was that woman.

We walked towards her while the kids were already in the sea, swimming.

"You can swim?" Clayton asked her and started to strip.

"Yeah and may I ask why are you stripping?" She asked as she immediately turned around

"Huh? How else am I able to swim, if I were to wear my clothes like this while swimming I'll drown" he explained while bringing out his swim suit out of the bag I brought along

"I - D - I - O - T! What she's trying to say is that why are you changing in front of her, a woman!" I hit his head. Really, sometimes he's so insensitive.

"What was that for! So what if I'm changing in front of her. We're at the sea its normal to change anywhere." He answered while trying to hit me back. Easily dodging it, I turned around and kicked him from behind making him fall in the water.

"Just swim will Ya"

"And you just had to do that"

He sarcastically said and just went for a swim. While heading back to get my bag I heard someone chuckle. I turned around to face her and gave her a what-look.

She shook her head and gave out a little laugh. "You brother's are quite funny and from the looks of it you two are very close"

"What are you getting at exactly?"

"Nothing really. I'm just saying that you two are close just like the kids"

Once more she smiled and looked at the sea where my brother and the others are swimming

"This is such a beautiful sight." She continued. From the outside she smiles so happy but I can sense it. The sadness in that smile. But then again who am I to bother her business.

I started changing and was getting ready to join the others when I heard her mutter something.

"In Italian: this freedom. I wish it'll never be stolen again"

"Did you say something?" I asked while I'm unable to understand what she just said.

"Hmmm? I haven't said a word. Something wrong?."

"No. I must've misheard something"

"That so. I'll go join the others then" she said as she walk towards the sea and swim over to the boys.

"Tsk. How annoying." I couldn't help but say those words. It was obvious she was lying and I hate being lied to.

Dub dub~ dub dub~ my heart started to beat rapidly as I walk towards the sea. I didn't expect he'd hear me. Was I loud? Clearly I spoke so quietly that even a snap of fingers were louder.

"Well I'm sure he hadn't heard it. And even if he did, he won't understand Italian"

"Onesan! Join us" I heard Kaze shouted while they were ganging up on Clayton. I couldn't help but chuckle at the sight. They look so happy.

I started swimming towards them and gave them a splash. And soon after that I became their next target.

"Hey bro! Hurry up and come're." Clayton shouted at his brother who was coming slowly towards us.

"What's the rush?" He answered back while I was being pulled away from them as the kids pull me deeper towards the sea.

"Nothing really. I just wanted to let you see something."

"What is it?"

"Remember the..."

That was the last thing I heard before the kids pulled me away from them. I wonder what was Clayton was going to show Alfred though.

"Hey onesan. Are you listening?" Kaze asked me as he sticks his forehead to mine.

"Sorry what was that?"

"We said that we have something to show you."

"What is it?"

"Just right below us is where we found you."

"I remember something beside you when I was trying to pull you up. I just remembered it now and maybe it's something you own or at the very least, related to you." Kaze spoke and swim below the sea.

"Lets go" Zeen followed and I did the same. While going down I can see something shinning beside the rocks, it's a box, a small treasure box, small enough to for one hand to hold it. The kids removed the small rocks covering it and I went ahead to get it. After that we swam back to the surface. As soon as we did we heard someone shout. "Everyone! It's time to go home!". It was Clayton

They were already at the shore waiting for us. "I guess its time to go"

"But we didn't even see what's inside the box!" Zeen complained as an excuse not go home.

"We can open it back home so let's go" I answered and left them groaning while following me from behind.

"Lets hurry back and help your mother for dinner" Alfred said while we started to go back.

"What's that?" He continued While looking at the small box in my hand.

"A box" I replied

"Obviously. What's inside it?" He snatched it from my hand and tried to open it.

"I don't know. I haven't opened it yet"

"It won't open" he continued and threw it back to me. He was right, the box had a lock on it. I turned it around, looking at the design and just then I saw something engraved on it. In Italian: to my love

"Hurry up. We're waiting for you" I heard a voice from afar. Turns out I was left behind and they're already waiting for me at the door.

"Sorry, I coming"
