It started to rain as the young blonde woman stared up at the mansion, in which had an eerie feel to it.
Oh no! I'm going to get wet! She thought as the it started pouring, running to the front porch of the mansion as fast as she can.
Good grief! It's just a little water... The demon rolled her eyes as she continued to follow the girl.
-Knock!Knock!-
Yui lifted the lever twice to knock on the door and waited for someone to open it.
They seem to be occupied with other things... "Hmph." The demon grunted out of distaste.
What was that?! Yui jumped slightly at the distressed grunt while raising her hand to knock on the door once again.
Before Yui could've put her fingers on the lever, the doors to the mansion creeped open by themselves.
That's strange... The petite girl raised an eyebrow as she watched Yui enter the grand doors, which seemed to have close after she came through.
"Hello? Anybody home?" Yui called out as she observed the dark elegant interior around her.
Ignorant human. You're only going to draw them out. The unseen girl hissed in her mind as she continued to silently watch the girl.
Maybe they didn't know that I was supposed to come today... Yui reasoned with herself as she continued walking on the deep red carpet.
"Hello?!" She called out once more as she came to the bottom of the grand stairs, making her guardian breathe out in irritation. Yui's deep pink eyes landed on a boy with messy red hair -with spikes here and there- on a couch in the room to the room on the right of the stair case.
Dear lord, may someone have mercy on your soul, girl. You've already encountered one of them and you just got here. Her visible deep crimson red eye stared at the taller blonde as she walked up to the sleeping young man, not knowing if Yui is too naive or if she wants to be in her deathbed early.
Looking upon the said adolescent, the demon girl took in his appearance as so did Yui.
Scrunching up her face in distaste, the demon leaned on the wall to the right of the human girl and the stranger. Hn, his uniform isn't even properly fixed on him. He can't even clean up for himself I guess... Shows that he has a bad persona. She silently clicked her tongue as she closed her eyes and folded her arms inside her black cloak that she was currently wearing.
"Excuse me-" Yui gasped as she touched his ice-cold hand. "He's so cold!" She muttered to herself in surprise. Panicking, she put her head to his chest, placing her ear over where his heart is supposed to be as she stayed silent like that for a few moments.
Of course he's cold. He's basically the living-dead. Foolish girl. The guardian held her sarcastic remark as she watched Yui in amusement.
Eyes widening, Yui gasped once again. He doesn't have a pulse! "Oh no! I have to call an ambulance!" She panicked as she quickly took out her phone from her brown snatchel.
As the worried girl dialed the ambulance, a hand snatched her phone away. "Damn, you're so noisy." A voice grumbled as the man -which Yui had presumed as dead- sat up. "You should be quiet this isn't even your house." His murky green eyes glaring at the bewildered girl who was sitting with her knees on the floor.
"Y-you're alive..." Yui stuttered.
"Of course I am. Why wouldn't I be?" He started at the girl taking in her presence.
