Knifes

Sofia POV

Today we are throwing knifes I am so excited this is my best subject other than fighting! I am walking to breakfast with Dean when Jackson comes up to me "hey can I call you sis?" he asks I look at him like he's gone insane "no" I say simply and keep walking he frowns and walks away for and erudite he's not very persistent. I walk to get my food I get a big piece of dauntless cake and an apple "really cake for breakfast?" says Rae when I sit down "yup you got a problem with that?" I ask in my 'instructor' voice as my dad calls it she shakes her head no I smile and eat. When we finish we head to the training room my mom and dad are already there "good morning initiates today we will be throwing knifes, six will you demonstrate please?" my mom picks up some knifes and throws them them at the target they all hit the centre some of the transfers are staring at my mom I am so mad I can tell dad is to "six stand in front of the target" my mom smiles and practically skips over to the target my dad picks up four knifes and flips them in his hands he looks at my mom in the eyes and says "eyes here" pointing in between his eyebrows then he throws a knife at her right next to her ear she cuts it ever so slightly, she smiles but stays perfectly still, then one of the transfers, a candor I believe speaks up "don't you know you could hurt her, why don't you go fight someone not throw knifes at some pretty girl like her" he says my dad fumes and starts to walk over to the boy he is about to punch him when Dean and I both run up and pull him back the boy smirks a little once mom comes over and helps Dean calm dad down I walk over to the boy he's about and inch taller than me he smiles "what you gonna do?" he asks me in a baby voice, which ales me so mad I punch I'm in the throat, eye then I kick him where the sun don't shine, he falls to the floor groaning in pain, I smile and walk over to dad "are you okay daddy" I ask him so only he can hear he nods my mom yells "what are you waiting for?!?!" all the initiates scramble for knifes when nobody's looking I hug my dad quickly and scurry off to throw some knifes.

*after training*

I am walking to dinner with Dean, Rae, Jackson, and Tray when a girl transfer walks up and stands in front of me "why were you hugging four he's mine" I giggle "no he's not" I say and walk away she runs up behind me and punches me in the eye, I am stunned I thought she would just drop it being from amity but oh well I walk away while Dean rubs circles on the back of my hand I walk to my mom and dad's apartment they are on the opposite side of the pit because they are dauntless leaders so it takes almost half and hour to get there when I get there my eye is already swollen shut, I knock on the door when my mom opens it she practically screams "honey what happened?!" "uh well I was walking to dinner and the amity transfer, Rachel I think her name was said she saw me hugging dad during training after that candor transfer yelled at him and she said he was her's and I said that he wasn't and I kept walking then she ran in front of me and punched me, hard" by this time dad had herd me talking and came to see what was going on, "oh my god Sofia what happened?" my dad asked i sigh "long story short she got punched by the amity transfer cause she was jealous about Sofi hugging you" says Dean, "I'll have to talk to her because hurting an initiate out of training is against the rules, and they hurt my daughter, but she doesn't know that..."

My dad says trailing off to look at mom "maybe we shouldn't hide our relationship it's not fair to Jasper or Sofia"
