"We ready to saddle up?"

Auther looked at Josiah, who was already on his horse. Excited as all can be.

"E'yup! What 'bout you Carter?"

Josiah was a young blonde haired male, full of life and curiosity. No mountain was ever too big nor river too wide that he won't get across. He had the energy of a thousand men and yet he couldn't focus on anything without getting distracted. It wasn't really a problem however. Josiah was funny and always cheered the group up when they were all bummed out. So if the drawback was that he was easily distracted so be it.

Carter walked out from the wooden outhouse, already drunker than a skunk. His breath stank of moonshine and his teeth were yellow and stained with tobacco. His skin was wrinkled and his hair greying. Carter was honestly a husk of a once great man. But he still managed to keep his charm, even if he looked uglier than a pile of horse shit.

"Yeah. Where's good ol' Bessie?"

Carter began looking around for his prized work horse. He's always had the horse for a good 10 some years. It was practically all he had left of his former glory.

A aged horse trotted up. It's muscles refined from years of hard work and plowing through fields. The horse still looked like it had many more years left it in compared to it's rider. Carter who looked like he could drop dead by the end of the month if he didn't drop his love for moonshine. Carter drunkenly tried to climb onto the horse's saddle only for the horse to buck him off. Sending him rolling into a ditch. Fortunately he wasn't harmed cept for getting dirt on his coat. Carter got back up and dusted himself off.

"She's always been stubborn. But I still love her."

Carter took out a carrot from his coat. Bessie loved carrots and she wouldn't move a inch before she had her fix first.

Before Carter could even hand the carrot to Bessie the horse snatched it from his hand chomping it up and swallowing it within seconds. Carter patted his horse.

"Good girl."

Carter climbed up and sat on the horse's saddle. Arthur, the groups leader was pretty well built. Brown hair with brown eyes Arthur was a working man. Having served in the navy previously further boosted his build. He whistled for his horse. Julios.

Julios trotted up. A lean race horse, Julios had a brilliant shiny clean coat. Immaculate and prestine, Julios was the pride in Arthur's life. Always reliable Julios never let Arthur down even in the hardest of times. Arthur petted Julios before mounting him. Grabbing his reins.

"We ready now? The train's going to reach the bridge in 'bout a hour. If we wanna get there before the Thomas boys do we better hurry. C'mon!"

Arthur thwacked his reins and his horse began down the path with Carter and Josiah close behind.

"So Arthur, what's on this train? Gold, weapons, heh. Women?"

Carter grinned. The one thing he nearly loved more than moonshine was women. Arthur chuckled shaking his head.

"No. But I heard it was something big. Patents. We can get these Patents and sign them with our names! We'll be set for life."

Josiah was a bit skeptical. He kept his pace with the rest of the group.

"I don't think that's how that works Arthur. Patents-"

Josiah was interrupted by Arthur.

"The patents are unmarked. No one has signed them yet. We go in, sign em and get out. Once they reach the patent office they'll mark it and we'll get our money in the mail with the original owner as oblivious as a blind man."
