Chapter 02 - Home

"'Me found lying at the park? how did that happen. I'm sure that I avoided the busy side of the city..... So how did I end up at a park?", confused was I trying figure out What had happened. Are my memories playing with me or did he just lie? I'm probably just overthinking...let's just stop from here...."

After a night of rest Kiara finally headed outside her room to find the boy from before sitting at a table alone with no sign of the crowd from yesterday. "oh! Good morning. well breakfast is ready", he said as he noticed her. "well....thank you", Kiara said as a smile was spread on her face. The boy got up from his seat and headed towards the kitchen to fetch her plate as she took a seat at the table. Followed by the boy who came with her plate after a few minutes and served her as he too took a seat next to her.

There was complete silence between them as Kiara started having her breakfast and he was the first to talk while breaking off the silence. "em.... well I am Keon and you are?", he asked a bit nervous. "Kiara, nice to meet you", she replied. "Kiara? well that's a lovely name...", he grinned. "oh well....., em.....thank you", Kiara replied to him a bit nervous. "em by the way are you feeling better now?", he asked her a bit concerned. "oh yeah totally, thanks to all of your help. I really don't know how grateful I am to you all and I'll promise that I'll pay my debt to you all someday," she replied at once. "oh... no no. we were just helping out a fellow friend in need", he answered as they made eye contact. "em speaking of others....where are they?", asked Kiara as she looked away a bit awkward. "well we were having a party yesterday as it was my sister's birthday and now all of em are back in their homes, and if you were wondering where my sister Sinon is, she just went out for some fresh air", Keon explained. "ahhh.... i see....", responded Kiara, when they heard the front door pushed open. "I'm back", Sinon exclaimed as she started heading towards them. "oh? good morning..........em.......?", she started her sentence to greet Kiara as Kiara answered, "Kiara", "ah Kiara!", greeted Sinon. "well em seems like you have already finished having your breakfast?.........",asked Sinon. "oh yeah and thank you soo much for the meal and it was delish!, em Sinon did you make it?", Kiara asked. "oh yeah and thanks for the compliment", thanked Sinon. "no no well I am the one who should be thankful", Kiara responded immediately as the other two giggled.

As their conversation went on they all got to know each other much more better as Kiara's mood became darkened as she remembered her family. "em so seems like I am feeling a lot better now and it's time for me to leave.........but..........", as tears starting dripping down her face as Sinon came near and comforted her......,"aw... now who said something about you leaving....?", "but-?", Sinon cut her off as Kiara replied back, "you are staying here from now on so make yourself home here", Sinon stated as she patted Kiara's head. Surprised, Kiara didn't know what to say as she was pulled into a tight hug by now here big sis Sinon as her clothes got soaked by Kiara's tears.
