February, 23rd. 11:30 am.

Adler Tennessee.

John Henry, drove the rental car to the Adler county sheriffs office. Dr Juanita Anthony sat in the passenger seat next to him.  Rachel Edison sat behind him sleeping and Lacey woodley sat behind Dr Anthony. Starring out the window, they must be exhausted Juanita said. Taking off her dark colored shades! Yeah Rachel especially. Poor girl she's been driving herself crazy over this case, we all have said Juanita. I just keep thinking about how I had Charles and Andrew both in my class. Just four, five months ago. If only I had known! John reached over and patted Juanita on the knee. It's not your fault! No one knew that Grady had killed Aiden pierce and assumed his identity. Or that he was gonna kill a bunch of kids in Annabelle. We couldn't have known, Dr Anthony took Johns hand and squeezed it. That's true, but still I just.... I don't know anymore. John slowed the care down and pulled into the parking lot of the Adler municipal building. Lacey reached over and shook Rachel "we're here, she said". they had only been in Adler for five hours and only three of those had been spent sleeping. Who do we meet with first Rachel asked John as she climbed out of the back of the Chevy Sedan. Yeah we're supposed to meet with Sheriff Donald Tompkins, he's gonna meet us inside and then take us down stairs to the corners office and view the bodies. they all walked inside and waited for sheriff Tompkins, He was a short balding man of about 65. He walked over and shook John and Juanita's hand, " I'm sheriff Tompkins you folks must be the people that came up from Texas?" Dr Anthony nodded. Yes I am Dr Juanita Anthony and this is sheriff John Henry and This is Rachel Edison and Lacey Woodley. Sheriff Tompkins nodded and smiled at Rachel and Lacey. Well if you folks would follow me I'll show you where the greenwoods bodies are. Rachel had seen first hand how Brutal Charles Grady could be. But she had almost forgotten, Romona Greenwood had been almost decapitated. She looked like her last few minutes of life had been pure terror, so did her husband Bruce. " so do you think your guy is responsible for this too? Sheriff Tompkins asked. Yes Rachel said. And the note you found, it was also in Andrews hand writing. " well do you think Andrew Grant helped Grady, kill? No Rachel said turning to look at sheriff Tompkins. Jesus Christ! Andrew was almost a victim himself. Back in Annabelle, there's no evidence to even support that he was alive after he left that note. I mean for all we know he's dead in some ditch or wooded area. I'm sorry ma,am I didn't mean to upset you. I just have to ask these questions. It's fine I think I'll go get some coffee or something. Rachel left the room, other than finger prints from Grady which in itself is rare. Did you have any witnesses?  Juanita asked. No none other than the guy who saw the car and that was almost two months later. The prints did match Andrew Grant and Charles Grady, I thought Grady burned his finger prints off regularly. Tompkins asked? he does, Said John he did back in Manitachie Falls and in Annabelle. My guess is he's gotten Sloppy now, He's not had a chance to make a new identity for himself yet. Plus he's got Andrew, I mean that must be why. He's usually a lot smarter and faster than this. Well he can only hide for so long though. Dr Anthony said, Trust me he has to resurface soon. He and Andrew both, but in the mean time where could he be hiding. Where can he be keeping Andrew, does he own property around here. or in Arkansas? John spoke up next. I think I might have someone who can at least give us some insight. his Aunt Marta lampkins, she still lives in Manitachie Falls. That's only two hours from here, I think we should be able to make it before its too late. If we leave now! Lacey he and Dr Anthony walked out of the corners office and went to go Find Rachel. It was time to go back to where it started, almost a decade ago. It was time to go back to Manitachie Falls.
