I walked inside of the hotel lobby waiting on Mrs. Stevenson. She said she's down with the plan but won't let Kaitlyn out of her sight. I told Kaitlyn don't bring her little pimp with her. If she do, she won't be able to see kadin. She know the rules.
Mrs. Stevenson came downstairs with kadin in her arms looking around at people in the lobby. I smiled once I saw kadin remembering that's how Demi looked when she was a baby. Now I'm having twins boys on the way.
"Hey, you down here early"Mrs. Stevenson said.
"Yeah I wanted to get a good seat to sit at"I said. She nod her head. "Follow me to the seats"I walk all the way to the back where it was private at. I sat down and watch the waiter sitting down a booster seat.
"How you feel about Keegan knowing what we doing?"Mrs. Stevenson ask.
"Keegan don't know about you being here"I said. "Just me"I licked my lips.
"She's upset huh"
"Yeah, very upset. But Keegan act like Kaitlyn don't need help"I said. "I seen this before"

"No, my ex. Kairi mom was on drugs and became and prostitute"I said.
"Keegan told me about her. She was with Kaitlyn"Mrs. Stevenson said.
"Yeah"I nod my head. "Sad man"I rubbed my face trying not to cry.
"It's okay to cry Dave"she said. "She's in a better place"
"I know but how I'ma be a mother and father to Kairi"
"You have Keegan there for you. Bianca. Me. And Keegan friends to help you. They know you and that Kairi, y'all family now"she said.
I nod my head closing my eyes. A few minutes later, Kaitlyn walked in the front door with some shades on. Her hair was nice and comb. Compared to the baby shower, she looked a mess.
"Look who finally showed up"I said.
"Sorry I was late, I had to handle business"she sniffle.
I looked at her mom who face expression look like she wanted to kill Kaitlyn. And Kaitlyn, she didn't care. She just sitting high. On cloud 9. Actually 100.
"Well, here is kadin"I pointed to kadin who was just suckling on her bottle.
Kaitlyn gasp and was bout to grab kadin till Mrs. Stevenson stopped her. "Not yet"she said.
"Mom, this is my baby. Let her go"Kaitlyn said.
"Kaitlyn, let the baby go so we can talk first"I said.
Kaitlyn looked at me and sigh. "Fine"she took her shades off and that's when I saw it all. She had a cut on top her eye right under her eyebrow, a black eye on the left, and the other eye slowly opening up.
"Kai...."Mrs. Stevenson gasp and covered her mouth. "Why?"she cried.
"He's my pimp mom. I have to listen to him everyday"she said with tears coming down here eyes. "I can't up and leave him mom. He have everything that I work for. My money, my I.D, my state I.D, then we're running away from cops cause of us leaving Anna dead at the apartment and the CPS taking kadin away from me giving her to you"
"That's not what had happened"Mrs. Stevenson said. "Y'all left this baby at the house with Anna dead body. Your pimp gave Kairi to CPS and she came down here to Dave"
"Kaitlyn why you didn't leave him. Your a strong ass woman, I know you are"I said.
"I didn't know how"she cried. "He's beats me if I say I'm leaving to the store. I don't know what to do"--" He beated me so bad that I had to stay in the hospital in California for 4 weeks"
"Why you went back? You could of came to Miami or went to your parents house"I said.
"I went back for kadin"Kaitlyn said. "She was there with him and Anna, I was already knew I was gone run away but he beat me to the punch"
"What about Anna?"I ask.
"She was in to deep. The day she was given the needle, I didn't see the blood till she got sick real fast. Passed away to soon"--"I need to get away from him. He's getting more girls anyways"
"We have to think of a plan. Do you have clothes and stuff there?"Mrs. Stevenson ask.
"Yes, but I don't think it will be easy for y'all to get inside the house"she said.
"So what. I can get in there, beat his ass up while you get your shit and then we can go. Simple"I said.
Kaitlyn nodded her head. "I don't care if you kill him"she said. "Can I hold my baby? Please"she looked at us with sad puppy dogs eyes.
"I don't see why not"Mrs. Stevenson said. "Under one condition, after this. Keep this cellphone on you so when we call you that means start getting your shit together and let's go"
"Okay" she nod her. Mrs. Stevenson picked up kadin and easily gently gave her to Kaitlyn. Kadin looked at Kaitlyn face not even crying. "Oh, my baby girl" she cried. "You look just like your dad"
"Don't say that"Mrs. Stevenson said.
"Okay fine. Like me, you look like me"she kiss kadin cheek. "Mommy will come back for you okay. I love you"Kaitlyn cried.
