Chapter 2

Aubrey P.O.V

It was pitch dark I was sweating like hell. I breathed fastly and I was falling down a cliff. I didn't know how to stop this feeling in my stomach. As I fall closed my eyes.

I woke up breathing heavily in a pool of sweat hearing my alarm and it's stupid noise. I turned it off and stood up from the pool of sweat that I have been sleeping on. Today was the weekend, that means Niall can sleepover! I didn't bother to get dressed. I walked down the spiral staircase. Niall was munching on some pancakes already in my kitchen! I creeped down the 4 extra stairs" Niall! That is my pancakes!" He started giggling muffled with stuffed pancakes in his mouth. He pushed the rest of the pancakes which was one! Boy, was he a pig! I rolled my eyes and painted my pancake with syrup and whipcream. I took a bite out of this delicious breakfast! My mom was cleaning dishes" Thanks your the best!" I

smiled my mom didn't smile back. I knew something was wrong, dad continued working late night shifts and came home at 12:00 sometimes he would come home take a shower and go to work. We are very rich but we do not spend it on nice stuff. We donate sometimes, Niall is very poor so we gave him some money. Niall always wanted to be a singer he has an amazing voice that will make you just melt. I sat back down and Niall was texting away Rachel his crush. He says he is in love with her I gag at the thought. She is very mean to me. She is little miss perfect in designer lip gloss. But Niall goes crazy over her. He says she's a good person deep down but I have no idea, maybe if I wasn't so shy and talked to people maybe we could have been best friends.Who knows maybe she really is a nice person and I am just crazy in love with Niall but he doesn't seem to notice. I leave the room with a groan I can hear Niall's Irish accent" Aye there love? Where are ya going?" I rolled my eyes and smiled as he called me love, did it mean something or did he just say that because he was an idiot? Probably the second choice. Sometimes I wish you can get what you wanted to happen. I guess everyone wishes that. I think as I realize I am still standing there smiling like a complete idiot. I stutter" o-oh yeah sorry had to brush my teeth I forgot to do that." I raced upstairs to the bathroom and grabbed the tube of toothpaste. I slid some on the toothbrush and brushed my teeth I hated the taste of mint so I quickly spit it out. I rinsed my mouth after a few rounds of nasty mint. I washed my face with the towel and rushed back downstairs. My dad was home really early too. His face was dark and cruel looking. I walked in the room, my dad told me nicely" May you and Niall please excuse us and get out of the house, me and your mother have some things to talk about." Me and Niall nodded our heads up and down. We decided to walk up the street to get candy. We went inside the candy store we saw all sorts of candy. Snickers, Twix, Reese's, and M&M's. My mouth was watering I was starting to get really hungry. I grabbed everything and bought it. We walked a bit more and realized it was already 7:50. We sprinted home, my mom was sitting on the coach. "Hon there's leftovers for you and No all in the fridge. We looked inside the fridge and it was soup. I grabbed it and put it in the microwave and settled the bowls out for the both of us. He ate it already after 5 minutes!"Hey I wonder what you're parents where talking about." I shrugged" Who knows I will end up finding out anyways." We finished our soup and walked upstairs. I laid on the bed and he laid on an air mattress. I soon drifted off to sleep.
