It was the next day and things had cooled down slightly. Russo was slightly on edge and Albert was just going with the flow.
Albert had been thinking about Prince Jake. His first impression of the young man was that he was a stuck up, ignorant slob who thought no end of himself.
Turns out, Jake was just a regular boy who wore fancy clothes with a good sense of humor. He did care for other people, he just make jokes in serious cases.
Albert grew sort of fond of him. He loved that he could tease someone and get away with it. His playful antics were being put to use for once.
"Sup Servants, hows the cleaning going?" Jake laughed as he fist-punched Russo. Russo smirked in response but was still slightly glum.
"Hey Albert, you haven't seen the gardens yet have you?" Jake asked turning his attention to Albert.
"Not yet, why do you have a carriage waiting?" Albert joked as they began to make their way to the gardens.
"Ha, I wish. Come on let me show you. Russo and I used to play here all the time when we were little. Good times." Jake nudged Russo's arm which triggered that nostalgic feeling.
"Y'know, you're not so stuck up for a Prince." Albert added as they walked from the long hall.
"Ha, well it's just an act I guess. I try my best to make myself laugh rather than others it's mostly me making the good out of stereotypes."
"We should show him our rock Jake!" Russo chimed in excitingly.
"Oh yeah! And the little swing where we played battle ships!" Jake added in.
Albert smiled at how passionate the two boys were over a garden. It seemed very important to them.
"Oh my god remember when Prince Ethan came! Holy shit that was fun!"
"And the time Princess Julia came with that god awful dress!"
The two boys laughed till they reached the end of the hall. Russo reached for the rather large handle and pulled it towards him revealing the vast variety of colours.
"Woah..." Albert said. His eyes grew wide with astonishment.
"Mhm! Come on dude we need to show you more!" Jake cheered grabbing Albert by the hand and running across the bright green grass.
"See Russo! I told you the swing never broke!" Jake pointed to a rather old looking swing. It looked as though it hadn't been used in ages.
"Yeah because I fixed it dumbass!" Russo laughed.
While exploring the garden more and more Albert learned more about Jake. He had this sort of childlike side to him. You could tell he wanted adventure and excitement in his life. Being a royal prince just didn't fit along with his personality and well being.
"Wow...you can see the full garden from up here.." Russo and Jake had brought Albert up onto their old tree house. It seemed old and frail but was actually extremely strong and was able to hold three grown men.
"I know. We used to pretend we were fighting these robots. It was so much fun huh Russo?" Jake said looking around the dusting wooded area.
