The ride to the city of the exhibition was long, but went on quite peacefully and with lots of different topics being discussed and a few secret kisses being exchanged too.

Credence spent most of his time looking through the little windows of the carriage while Percival spent most of his time watching Credence with amusement because of how easily Credence was amazed, especially when he watched the landscape change before his eyes.

Seeing Credence happy like that made him truly happy too.

And before they knew it, they were stepping out of the carriage and making their way towards their hotel, exchanging wide grins of excitement between each other.

One of the hotel's rather kind and polite personnel led them inside, helping them with their luggage, and took them to their shared room.

As they were passing through the wide halls and hallways of the hotel they spotted all sorts of gorgeous different paintings neatly placed around the place and staff of the hotel, along with some seemingly rather rich people, helping with setting them up.

"Whoa! . .Wait, the exhibition is going to be held here??" Credence turned to Percival, excitement written all over his face.

"Yes," Percival smiled warmly to the younger man as they made their way towards their shared room.

Credence smiled ear to ear and gave Percival a big tight hug before his eyes averted back to the paintings and the people around them, and as he looked around Credence did recognize most of the paintings, some of them being by his favourite painters making his already over-the-top excitement grow even bigger.

As they ascended past the last few stairs his eyes locked with certain icy gray and dark brown ones, sending both ominous and excited shivers down his spine.

Ignoring the bad vibe immediately, he tugged onto Percival's jacket whispering excitedly to him,
"Look look it's the famous art trader Gellert Grindelwald!! Whoa I can't believe he's going to be here too!!"

Percival's eyes averted to the white-haired male, studying him for a short second as Credence's excitement continued. Percival couldn't put a finger on it, but there was something off about the man that was standing at the end of the hallway, talking to the personnel. Something very off.

Not being able to determine what got his mind working about the said art trader Percival decided to just shrug it off for now and he smiled to Credence.

"Maybe you manage to talk to him tomorrow," Percival said as they continued the walk towards their room, hand firm on Credence's back, having a strange urge to protect him.

As they entered their shared bedroom their minds quickly drifted away from the art trader and focused on the fact that just hit both of their heads - that they'd finally get to spend time all by themselves.

"So, it's just you and I now," Percival smiled at the younger man as the kind personnel member, that helped them with their luggage, left already after wishing them a nice stay.

"Seems so.." Credence's cheeks reddened as his mind started racing on the thought.

Percival smirked on that warmly and approached Credence, closing in the short distance between the two, and as Credence looked up at the older male, Percival pulled him into a big warm hug, letting out a happy sigh.

"I missed having you this close.." Percival smiled as he left a light kiss upon Credence's nose, on which the younger gently closed his eyes, enjoying the moment.

"Me too," Credence smiled.

Few long moments passed before the two could part from each other, both being too engulfed in the pleasant feeling that was warming their hearts.

Afterwards, by Percival's orders, both of them freshened up and prepared for bed. Getting snuggled up against each other, deep under the clean covers, they both sighed with content nested inside of them.

"Do we have to go to sleep so early? It's only 11," Credence, even though being very aware that 11 is not as early as he claims it to be, tried really hard to get Percival to maybe let him go sniff around the hotel and see all those beautiful paintings, being as excited as he was.

"No no young man, you have to go to sleep. We've been travelling all day so you need to get some rest," Percival pinched younger man's nose gently with a warm smile upon his face, "The paintings can wait".

With a sad but understanding sigh, Credence gave the older a nod before burying his face into said man's chest which made Percival chuckle.

"Good night Percival," Credence spoke against Percival's chest, cheeks red from closeness.

"Good night sunshine," Percival returned with a smile and planted a soft kiss on top of Credence's head before closing his eyes and drifting off to sleep as well.
