Deltarune Christmas AU: The Crazy Christmas Party

Chapter 3

   They had appeared back in the closet. Susie opened the door to reveal the empty, dark school hallway. Kris pulled out his phone, it was 9:12, he hoped that MK didn't do anything too crazy. He turned on flash with his phone and led the way out, Rouxls having to duck slightly to get make his way out. Ralsei, Lancer, and Rouxls seemed curious about their surroundings and were looking all around the building, Lancer would point at things he found interesting and pull on Rouxls sleeve jumping with joy. A few time Rouxls had to clarify to Lancer that the things he was pointing at they had in the Dark World too, like doors and the classroom windows, laughing at the child's excitement.  When they made there way to the school doors, they could all see snow on the ground, as there were little snowflakes gliding on the wind.

"What's that!" Lancer excitedly asked.

"It's snow, you know it comes out of sky-  oooh, you guys don't get snow in the dark world do you?" Susie answered. Lancer, Rouxls, and Ralsei all shook their heads at the same time. "You guys have so much to learn about this place!" Susie added.

   Kris held the door open for the group, "ready to go?" They all started to walk out into the cold air. All that was heard was the crunching of snow under their feet as the three darkners stared quietly at the snow around them. A winter wonderland. As the three darkner's were immersed in the marvel, Kris and Susie were coming up with a lie about where their friends came from.

"Why not just say 'their our friends for another school' or something."

"Nah Susie, Rouxls looks like he has to be in his 20's so that wouldn't work." Kris explained.

"Then what do you suggest then?" Susie asked wanting to know what Kris had in mind.

"We could say that 'they're from another town visiting'. Its sounds more believable." Kris responded.

"Saying that they're from another school is believable!"

"Yeah, but my ideas more general." Kris said confidently.

"Fine, we'll go with yours, even though mine was basically the same." Susie said as she rolled her eyes.

"Where we going!" Lancer said as he jumped in front of the two and started bouncing around.

"This is a valorous questioneth, where art thee taking us?" Rouxls had added.

"It's like a party, right Kris?" Ralsei asked

"Yup! It's a Christmas party..." Kris stopped talking and looked at his friends, Ralsei, Lancer, and Rouxls. He looked at them for a moment then spoke. " We're make a quick stop first." He then scanned his eyes all the way up Rouxls body and to his face, "Maybe two quick stops." He gestured for his friends to follow him. 

    As they walked through the snow Kris and Susie were telling the three about the Surface and Christmas and all the stuff that they could do together that would be fun. Susie was insisting that they should all pull a prank on someone while together, while Ralsei was trying to talk her out of it. Once they reached his house Kris motioned for the group to wait a moment, "Wait here, I'll be right back." He quickly ran into his house, into to his bedroom and went through his closet. He grabbed a red and white scarf and then one of his Christmas sweaters. He ran back outside. He gave the sweater to Lancer, it was mostly red and white, it had a Christmas tree on it with presents under it. Lancer put it on and had had a big smile on his face. Kris gave the scarf to Ralsei. The scarf was red and white stripes on it. Ralsei blushed a little and smiled as he off his scarf, then carefully placing the one Kris had given him.

"Thank you Kris." Ralsei said warmly, smiling nervously.

"Wowie! Thanks Kris! this is super cool!" Lancer excitedly thanked.

"Hey, Susie, can you take Lancer and Ralsei to the party, I've got nothing that would fit Rouxls at my place, so I'm gonna go ask Papyrus for something of his." Kris asked.

"K, let's go guys! You're gonna love it in there!" Ralsei and Lancer followed Susie inside the Sans bar while Kris took Rouxls to the door of Sans and Papyrus place.

"Who is't is this papyrus thee speaketh of?" Rouxls asked.

"He's super nice and cheerful, I bet you'll like him! Plus he is about the same height as you, so you could probably fit one of his Christmas sweaters." Kris responded, and knocked on the door. Shortly after Papyrus opened the door and greeted the two.

"HELLO KRIS AND MERRY CHRISTMAS! WHO IS THIS YOU HAVE BROUGHT ALONG WITH YOU? Papyrus asked happily.

"Hey Papyrus, and merry Christmas to you too! I was just wondering if you could let my friend Rouxls Kaard borrow one of your Christmas sweaters?" Kris answered as he pushed Rouxls in front of him. Rouxls made an awkward small wave. He seemed to have been shocked by the shear volume of the monster, all around out of place in this unknown land. 

"OF COURSE, THIS WAY!" Papyrus let them both in and brought Rouxls to his room to go pick out a sweater. Papyrus excitedly lead Rouxls up the stairs as Rouxls looked confused and uncomfortable with all this energy coming from this monster. Kris sat on the couch and scrolled through his phone. He looked through the pictures on his phone, he made a mental note that he should take some photos with his friends at the party. After some time, Kris noticed how long they were taking. He started wondering what was taking so long. Out of curiosity, Kris went up the stairs and opened the door of Papyrus's bedroom to see Rouxls looking at Papyrus with stars in his eyes, as Papyrus held a book in his hands as he proudly spoke of it. Kris narrowed his eyes at the book he was holding. Its was a book about puzzle making. Of course. "Not to rush you guys but Rouxls, are you still coming?"

"Ay, ay I'll joineth thee and the rest later." Rouxls said as he shewed away Kris away.

"Well then... bye guys! Oh wait, Papyrus, where is your brother at?" Kris asked.

"MY BROTHER SAID HE WAS GOING TO TORIEL'S." Papyrus answered.

"Thanks..."

"GOODBYE KRIS!"

"I shall seeth thee later kris."

   As soon as he left the room Papyrus went back to talking about the puzzle book. As he left the house he started wondering why he didn't see Sans when he went inside his house. On that same fact, he didn't see Goat Mom either, maybe he was just not focused on his surroundings? That what he hoped because he didn't like the thought of the other explanation. He headed to Sans bar, still slightly grossed out by his own mind. Opening the door to the bar he sighed then looked in front of him to a sight that was met with, "Shit" in response from Kris.

(AN: uwu, I did the evilest thing ever to be done, I left you with a cliffhanger! DUN! DUN! DUUUUNNNN! All jokes aside, yes, I left you with a cliffhanger. I wanted to make this story a little more Interesting. See ya in the next chapter!)
