Deltarune Christmas AU: The Crazy Christmas Party

Chapter 2

   When they made it into the Dark World Kris and Susie went off to go look for their friends. Susie went off to go and find Lancer while Kris went to go and find Ralsei . As Kris walked his way to Ralsei's castle, he remembered his first time in the dark world, where he had become close friends with Ralsei, Susie and Lancer. He remembered how nice Ralsei was and how lonely he might be when there not around. Kris being lost in thought had bumped into someone.

"Sorry, I wasn't-"

"Kris?" He had bumped into Ralsei. Ralsei wrapped his arms around him pulling the blue human into a deep embrace. "I didn't think you would come back so soon!"

"Hey Ralsei, would you maybe like to... ummm ... come to this party I'm throwing?"

"Of Course! I love to, where will it be at?" Ralsei's face beamed with even more excitement.

"It's at the surface, you know where I'm from."

"At, the surface...? I not sure. No Darkener has ever been to the surface before..."Ralsei's face drooped, his excitement had turned to worry. He seemed to be weary of leaving.

"Well, won't it be cool to be the first!" Kris had to convince him to come, he wanted him there, wanted all of his friends there! Plus he wasn't gonna give up so easily!

"I'm just not sure, but a just have a bad feeling about it..."

"Ralsei, please.." Kris begged.

"Okay.. just, we have to be careful!"

"Great! What's the worst that can happen! Now we need to get Susie, she is gonna go bring Lancer."

   The two started walking forward. They knew that the their friends couldn't possibly be to far, knowing that Lancer like to travel around. They walked past puzzles that had been deactivated awhile ago, and chatted along the way telling each other what they had been up to during their time apart. Ralsei had been telling Kris about a new pie recipe he had been working on, and Kris telling him about the pie's his mother makes and how he should try some once they get to the surface. As the two chatted they eventually got to the forest. laughing as they walked, they could see from the distance Susie walking towards them with Lancer as a tall, slim, blue figure followed from behind.

   As the trio grew closer Kris now clearly saw that behind them was no one other than Rouxls Kaard. He didn't look too pleased, he seemed annoyed, he had his arms crossed and had a look on his face that looked comedically displease. Susie also didn't look all that happy either, she seemed ticked off by the look of it. She had her hands in her pockets and her hair was covering her eyes, but her grinding of her teeth in the most unsettling way told it all. Lancer was calmly skipping along happily, he didn't seem bothered by anything.

"Hey guys, what's up...? Are you guys okay?" Kris said uncomfortably feeling the intensity of the two. 

"This guy is really getting on my fucking nerves! I swear I'm gonna knock him out!" Susie angrily stated.

"This worm thinkest she can just bringeth lancer to thy surface! I bethink not!!" Rouxls answered practically screaming.

"So! He wants to go! Plus he's like your boss now or something, he can do what he wants!" Susie yelled at Rouxls.

"Well fine! ill cometh with thee!" Rouxls yell back to Susie.

"Yay! Lesser dad's coming!" Lancer happily said, right before either of them could speak.

   Susie grumbled a bit before just muttering, "Fine"under her breath.  She rolled her eyes just before her hair covered them again.

   Rouxls, smiled victoriously, which had seemed to tick off Susie who mumbled something then went silent.

   Kris and Ralsei looked at each other confused, then looked back at their friends. "So... we should start to head out of to the fountain..." Kris rubbed the back of his head and pointed loosely pointed ahead of him.

"Yeah, you're right Kris... let's get going." Ralsei added.

   The walk to the fountain was awkwardly silent. No one was saying anything, not even Lancer, he caught on to the tension. Every so often Susie and Rouxls would shoot eachother dirty looks, each one growing more nasty by the turn, but other than that no was really saying anything. After they finally made their way to the fountain, Ralsei pulled up some of his courage and spoke.

"What's Is it like where your two are from... we've never been there before." Ralsei said awkwardly.

"He's right! what is it like there!" Lancer added happily, he was relieved that someone had finally broken the tension.

"You'll get to see real soon!" Susie replied not to mad anymore, shooting a grin at the two Darkners willingly ignoring Rouxls Kaard who looked like he was about to add a question.

"It's really different from here, but I think you three might like it." Kris added. Susie rolled her eyes when Kris said three reminding her that Rouxls was coming along.

"Let's go in, shall we?" Kris said right before the five of them entered the fountain.

(AN: Wowie I'm finished it! I thought it would take longer, but surprisingly it didn't. Anyway in the next chapter the characters will be in the surface! So until next time, bye!)
