So, of course, being really into books, I'm bound to have an idea related to a library.
In this story the main character is basically a high school boy (I named him Jake, idk why) who ends up at the library on a Saturday to work on his end-of-semester English project.
At the library he meets his mysterious classmate (who I named Amy) who agreed to help him finish his project before next Friday. Jake tends to procrastinate. Thus why he is doing his semester project a week before it is due, while Amy did hers more than a month ago.
Anyway, Amy knows her way around the library better than anybody there. She practically lives among the books. She would if the library didn't have to close and she didn't have to go to school.
Amy has discovered the magic in the books she spends so much of her time with. That is the main adventure in this story. She and Jake end up getting pulled into the stories in the books. They get to meet characters, fight villains, and ultimately they leap through the covers into the next book.
This story would provide for a lot of quick fanfiction type stories as Amy and Jake make their way to the end of the shelf. As the stories go on Amy and Jake face new challenges and recognize patterns within the stories they explore.
Jake ultimately uses these patterns and differences to complete his project on what makes compelling literature.
And don't worry RenegadesIsAwesome , if I ever write this story I have a sad ending planned for it.
Also, if you want me to write this story you can comment a book you want Amy and Jake to end up inside.
