I stared in horror at the sight of my room. When I had left this morning the sheets were in a mess and last night's clothes were lying in a crumpled mess next to my bed but other than that it was neat and tidy.

My entire room had been torn apart. My cupboards had been completely emptied of their contents, leaving all my clothes sprawled across the floor. My shelves had been stripped of all my books, some of which were missing pages that were dumped on the floor next to them. My drawers had been pulled out of their chests. Even my pillow had been stabbed and feathers lay everywhere.

Who on earth did this to me?! I haven't even seriously pissed anyone off recently!

Wait, could it have been Ms Howard? No, she was talking to Lincon while I was at lunch, which was not very long. And this morning she was in her office. Sure there was time unaccounted for, but not enough to do this much damage.

Even my curtains were shredded.

This has been such a bad day.

I couldn't hold it in any longer, I just screamed. I poored sound out of my lungs like a dam that just burst. I screamed until my lungs ached for air and I bent over to catch my breath.

I wasn't expecting anyone to come here, no one cares if a girl screams. We are used to it.

That's why I didn't expect foot steps to be pattering outside. They were fast, like the person was running. Every time a shoe stomped on the floor it echoed.

I didn't move when the footsteps got louder as the person approached. I didn't move when they slowed down. I didn't even move when a warm breath tickled my neck and fingers slid over my shoulder.

I recognized the touch, those rough, strong hands what caused me to shiver.

Quickly I stung around without warning and launched my fist into Lincon's face.

He stumbled back in shock. Apparently he wasn't expecting me to give him a big fat punch right in the eye. Ha!

"Wow, you been doing push ups?" He asked me is disbelief.

I just smirked and laughed at him. "I'm stronger than I look aren't I? What, didn't think a girl could blacken your eye?"

I was enjoying this so much. Punching him hurt my knuckles and my wrist felt like it had become glass about to shatter, but it was so worth it. The look of confusion on his face is absolutely priceless.

He had removed his hand from my shoulder when I punched him and now held it over his eye. I wonder how he's going to explain this to his mates, he can't exactly say that he was beaten by a weak, helpless little girl. Boo hoo.

His eyes left me and drifted to look over my shoulder at my room.

"Renovating much?"

I snorted. "It's been a bad day, but not that bad."

"Shame, let me know if I can do anything to help you. Want some help tidying up?"

I bit my lower lip and turned my eyes to look diagonally at the floor. One the one hand it will be quite a mission cleaning this mess up by myself, but on the other hand then I would have to see his face.

Decision made.

"The only thing that you can do to help me is to get your sorry ass out of my sight."

He looked stunned.

I think I should be feeling guilty right now, but nope. He deserves it.

"Well if that's what you want then let me at least call one of the cleaners to help you."
