Edward

Ed can feel the sweat seeping through his shirt, it's gross and it doesn't smell quite like flowers like he had hoped. He is completely and utterly surprised that he even made it through the first set list with Harry watching intently. Now it's worse, Harry is front and center, eagerly waiting for him to play yet again as he speaks quietly to the boy Niall walked up to moments ago.

"Niall..." Ed gritted through his teeth, trying not to draw attention to himself. "We need to go, I'm freaking out right now." Niall simply nodded his head. Knowing that it was definitely time to go if Ed wasn't ready for the after party, he was always ready to drink and have a good time.

So Niall quickly got off stage, walking towards the back so that he could tell Karen; the owner. That they were done with the set list and would be back later that week, if Ed was up for it.

Ed then quickly packed up his guitar, placing it in its case as he watched Harry quirk his head to the side, most likey trying to understand why Ed was leaving so early. It was adorable to say the least and Ed was really tempted to take a picture just so that he would have the confused face of Harry to look at whenever he was sad.

"Okay, we're all set to leave mate." Niall said, placing a hand on Ed's shoulder, trying to get his attention. Ed continued to look at Harry, his eyes searching every detail of his face. Edward could see one freckle just right below his dimple. It's adorable really and Ed can't seem to turn away from staring at him. He's just so beautiful that it makes Ed's stomach hurt.

He's about to turn away when Harry's eyes meets his own, something that rarely happens often because one of them turns away blushing like mad. This time neither turn away, they just look at each other for a long while and suddenly things just get really quiet, Ed's entire mind is blank and he feels like that if he continues to stare into Harry's eyes he could find something deeper. Like his hopes and his dreams.

Ed feels like he could find all of these things just by looking at him. It's nothing like he's ever experienced before, and for some reason Ed thinks that Harry is doing the same to him, that he too is look for everything Ed's ever wanted in life.

Eventually someone waves a hand in front of Ed's face and he is out of his trance. "Shit, are we going or what?" Niall looks at him, and back at Harry. "I need some take out, and a good nights sleep. No beer this time, swear on me life." Niall says dragging Ed outside.

"Wait, I wanted to say goodbye to Harry!" Ed squirms in Niall's arm trying to make his way back inside but it's too late, their are too many people inside and now he can't seem to find his favorite mop of curls.

Ed lets out a sigh and finds his way next to Niall and they both walk down the street in a comfortable silence. As both of them are bound to be thinking about the show, or at least that's what Ed thinks, Niall maybe thinking about wings and beer, his two favorite things in the whole world. Other than music of course.

"Wait, did you say you wouldn't be drinking tonight?" Ed asks looking over at Niall, finally remembering what he had said earlier.

"Yeah, that's what-"

"Bullshit, you'll be drinking not even five minutes after we get home, and then when you finish your first, I'll fancy myself a beer and before we know it, we are sitting on the couch watching another episode of South Park." Ed says punching the pin in for their apartment building.

"What are you talking about, that's just our daily ritual after a show, no harm in that now!" Niall said, with a laugh as they walk up the stairs, guitars on their backs.

"I suppose but it's right shitty I say." Ed lets out a chuckle before pulling the keys out of his pocket, trying to unlock the door to their apartment is nearly impossible, with a combination of twisting it right, then left, and jam it a little before you are able to enter. It's quite annoying but neither Niall or Ed have any patience to fix the damn thing.

"I'll get the beers." Niall mumbles slipping his shoes off by the door and setting his guitar in the closet.

"I'll find the remote." Ed does the same, sitting down on their rugged couch, wishing that his life was a little less predictable. Niall comes back from the fridge. With a six pack of the cheapest beer on the market and a bag of crips. "Just in case." he says, sitting down next to Ed.

Ed doesn't say anything, he just grabs a beer, pops it open and starts clicking through the channels until he finds the one he's looking for. Its one of the episodes that Ed and Niall have seen multiple times but they never seem to get sick of.

"Why didn't you tell me you were going to ask that kid out?" Ed says after a few moments of silence. Niall takes a long sip of his beer, finishing it off completely before crushing the can. "Dunno, it was sort of in the moment kind of thing, really hot though isn't he?" Niall smirks, tossing the can onto the coffee table.

"How do you do that?"

"Do what?" Niall asks, letting out a half laugh as he opens yet another beer. "How do you just go for it and for some unknown reason it works out for you?" Ed says, furrowing his eyebrows together.

Niall simply shrugs his shoulders and turns his head back to the television laughing at Cartman and his efforts to be a superhero.

"I'm going on that date with you, and you better hope to god Harry shows up."
