soyi rolled around in her bed, groaning lightly as she reached her hand out to find her favourite blanket. her hand travelled up and down the empty space next to her, soon becoming agitated when she couldn't find her blanket. the girl opened her eyes as she propped herself up on her elbows, rubbing the sleep away from her eyes as she sat up.

"..what?"

she whispered softly, clearly confused. this was not her bed. this wasn't even her room.

she quickly threw the warm duvet off of her, relieved when she saw she was still wearing all her clothes. soyi jumped out of bed, tip toeing over to the bedroom door. the girl stuck her head out of the room, making sure the coast was clear. she didn't hear or see a thing. she carefully made her way out of the bedroom and into the hallway containing multiple other doors with a large window at the right end. soyi decided not to enter any of the other rooms, continuing down the hall to her left, soon finding herself in a large living room. the living room contained large windows as well, allowing you to see over the whole city.

she stood there for a while, almost losing herself in the gorgeous view of the city. she then turned her attention back to investigating the place, walking over to one of the soft-looking couches. her heart jumped when she saw someone lying on the couch, making her way infront of the person to look at their face.

susan.

this is susan's place.

she felt relieved, but confused. why didn't he just take her home? she thought to herself, sitting down on the concrete coffee table facing the couch. jungkook looked peaceful. this was nice. him not talking. she enjoyed that.

soon jungkook started feeling her gaze on him, opening his eyes to meet hers.

"you're up." he spoke softly

"i am.."

he stood up before stretching with a loud groan. "how'd you sleep?"

"good."

"want breakfast?"

"it's.." she hesitated for a bit, looking at the clock before continuing. "11 pm.. and you're offering me breakfast?"

"yeah i mean, it's morning for us, no?"

soyi hummed, "i suppose so."

jungkook smiled, waving soyi over to join him in the kitchen. he pulled out a box of cereal and poured some into a bowl before sliding it over to her.

"you have any milk?"

"no. i offered you cereal just because i don't have milk." she rolled her eyes with a scoff, tying her hair up in a ponytail before opening the fridge. she poured a bit of milk into both of their bowls and put it back as soon as she finished. they sat down, across from each other at the island with their cereal.

"why am i here?" she asked, stirring her cereal slowly.

"because you fell asleep at work." he avoided eye contact, stuffing his mouth with cereal.

"yeah.. but why didn't you just wake me up?"

"i tried. you're a deep sleeper, man." he grinned as he thought of the short girl snoring on his back.

"i see.. ah, well. thank you for not just leaving me there.. or whatever." she mumbled, her gaze on her spoon.

"sorry, what was that?"

she sighed jokingly, looking up at him. "i said thank you."

"you're welcome, babe." he gave soyi his signature wink, chuckling.
