Oi! Read this part!
Before we really begin I just want to once again point out that A) this story will have some boyxboy in it (as well as some boyxgirl later as well), and B) this is going to be a LOOOOONG story!
In other words, don't expect the plot to happen in this chapter. Nor the next. Or even the one after that. ....or, actually, parts of the plot happen all the time in each chapter, but don't expect the plot to be SOLVED anytime soon - or even fully presented.
First few chapters are more like an intro, allowing you to catch up to what's happened thus far and to get to know the protagonist. Main plot doesn't really present itself until further ahead, so bear with me please. :] It will be worth it. Just think of it as an actual full-lenght novel (since it is one).
Thank you for your time.
Now, carry on reading.
(The song in the video sort of sets the mood here, btw ;])
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The calm before the storm. The sound of utter silence.
It never ceases to fascinate me; how my mind is able to completely shrug any thoughts off, and for once stop spinning and focus entirely on a single thing:
Killing.
I close my eyes, take a deep breath, and at that point the world stops turning and time comes to a halt. Split seconds, or minutes? Hours, or days? Time stretches out into infinity as my thoughts cease to exist.
Indeed, the calm before the storm.
Once I open my eyes time returns to its normal flow again, and I allow my instincts to take complete control over me.
A flurry of movements and it has begun; I charge forward, dodging bullets and blows as I close in on my first target. The order in which I will take my enemies out is already clear in my mind, the method to do so also precisely calculated and predetermined during that split second of calmness before it all began.
Contact; lips drawing back to reveal sharp teeth, burying themselves in a neck, ripping skin apart and scenting the air with the alluring smell of blood, further fueling my frenzy.
Brave fighting, resisting the inevitable.
The smell of fear, and the taste of iron in my mouth.
Panic all around once the realization sets in; death is coming—soon.
The screaming and snapping of bones accompanied by the sound of flesh ripping apart and bodies hitting the ground; such a sweet and beautiful symphony—the perfect song for this dance of death.
Inner calm in spite of the chaos all around; my body acting on its own accord, moving with great agility and ease, anticipating the next move in what seems to me as seconds beforehand—though this makes things obvious, they are in no way less exciting or pleasing.
Rush, rip, slash, bite. A thoroughly practiced and rehearsed improvisational dance; a hasty foreplay, prelude to the climax that will come, soon, soon, soon—!
Stillness.
The sound of silence once again. Finally I can come to a halt and enjoy the long-awaited climax in peace and quiet. Lips moving gingerly over skin covering veins pumping the painfully sweet liquid I so deeply crave. Body taut with tension; tremble, shake, quiver in suspense—release so near, so close. Hurrying slowly, impatiently savoring; postponing, prolonging, resisting, enduring. A trail of soft bite-nibble-kisses until I come across the right spot, fangs slowly puncturing skin, tenderly piercing through flesh; a flood of warmth and sweetness in my mouth and I have reached carnal heaven.
