What he found was a small figure face down in the mud Surrounded by oddly placed stones. It's breathing was sporadic and inconsistent. As Elias approach the being, it made what sounded like a wheezing sound thus acknowledging his presence. It was filthy. Covered in black Gunk and obscuring any identifiable features. He stalked up to the what he assumed to be some sort of bait laid out for hunting bear. The creature looked as though it could be a fawn or a small wolf pup, definitely animal like. It squirmed, struggling to lift its head. Elias brought his snout in closer to sniff the soon to be carcase. On closer examination this ''animal" had very familiar eyes. With what faint color they possess it was a deep crimson he had know all too well.
Then it hit him.
"Elijah?..."he spoke with a soft horse voice. The animal response was yet another attempt at lifting its frail head. His heart dropped. "my Son...?" Elise frantically started to clean the face of creature. Elijah it was, indeed. Elias was scared to hold him, he didn't know what angle he could take to hoist him up. And he didn't know the extent of his injuries. But turns out He had transformed himself the way his dad did. Into a beast of some sorts but a kit-like version. Elias nuzzled his pups head and detransformed back into his casual look. He immediately ripped the cloak of his back and gently scooped up his broken child. Elias made a beeline for the rural church.

despite the time father simon was always willing to help 'family' - a word used loosely
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Elias pounded the church doors almost breaking through them. "Father! Please its urgent!-"
No answer.
Where had everyone gone?Elias looked down at the shaking bundle of mud. He couldn't wait around any longer. Seconds felt like minutes and Elijah needed help NOW.
Using magic on such a tiny worn being could end up doing more harm than good.
And He'd ask help from the fae but if he'd let them help...they as well could end up doing more harm than good. This was a 'no magic' situation. All that concentrated energy could be overbearing for elijah's state.
