We drove for a while until we reached the beach. There was a tiny restaurant. It had tables and chairs on the beach with a beautiful view of the ocean. It was a high tide so you could see the waves crashing on the shore. We walked over to the restaurant and Niall came to me and put his arm around me.
"Hi! How are you? Where would you like your table? We have one table vacant on the shore." The waiter greeted us with a smile. " Um, I think we'll take a table on the shore." We followed the waiter as he showed us to our table. Niall pulled the chair for me and Greg did the same for Faye, Warron for Taylor and Fred for Carly. "What would like to eat?" Naill asked as he flipped through the pages of the menu. "I don't know. What's good here? I think I'll just have a seafood salad." Faye decided to order the same. The waiter came up to us to take our order. Greg got the chicken burger with a side of wedges. Carly and Taylor got a cajun pasta. Fred and Warron both got steaks. Me and Faye got the seafood salad with a side of chips. Niall, well Niall got the whole restaurant.
Our food had come. Niall started to scarf down the food. My salad was really good. The chips were done to perfection. I loved the food there. "So how did you like it?" Niall smiled. "The food's great." I said. Just looking at the shore. The beach brought back the memories of my dad. We used to live the beach. He used to tae me to beaches in Dublin all the time. Niall stared straight into my eyes even though I didn't turn his way. He could tell I seemed a little upset. "So are we ready to go?" Greg asked. "I think I'd like to go for a walk on the beach." I stood up and walked away.
As I walked on the shore, the heat of the sun covered me like a blanket of warmth. The waves crashing at my feet. My worries disappeared as the crystal water touched my toes. My hair blowing in the wind. the tiny particles of sand ran into my toes as the water hit me. I heard him jogging up to me. "Wait up!" I turned around after hearing his familiar voice. I waited. I wasn't upset as such. The beach always brought back memories but I still loved the beach. "What's wrong you seemed upset?" He looked down staright into my eyes. "Nothing. The beach always brings back memories of my dad. That's all." I continued to walk. "I'm so sorry. I don't know how it must be to loose someone so close to me. I'm there for you if you need me."His words brought a smile to my face. I looked right at him now. He moved closer to me. There was no space between us. He moved a strand of my hair , looking straight into my eyes and then put his hands around my neck. He kissed me. His soft lips seemed to fit perfectly in mine, making my heart flutter uncontrollably. He was so gentle, so cautious. It was only a moment before he pulled away, smiling. Our foreheads were still together. I couldn't help but smile. It was magic, the way his lips connected with mine. It was right. We weren't very far from the restaurant. I could hear Taylor screaming "Finally Nialler!" I igiggled when I heard this. "Yeah it took you long enough." He laughed as he put his arm around me.
We then started to walk back to the restaurant. He interlocked his fingers with my mine as I rested my head on his shoulder . "It's almost 2 in the afternoon, do you want me to drop you guys home?" He looked at me. He had to tilt his head a little cause I was a little shorter that him. "My mum wouldn't mind if I was out for a little longer but I don't know whether Faye would be okay." I looked up at him. "I guess so." We spotted the table I seen Greg sitting at the table with the others and I seen Faye talking on the phone at the side. Her eyes were red. She was biting her lip. I could tell she was holding her tears back. I ran towards her and grabbed the phone. It was Nate on the other line. "Nate, this is Yolanda. now you better listen to me. I want you to stay away from Faye. You've caused her enough pain. Just go back to the snank Lindsey who was so eager to get with you while you were dating Faye. Stay away from Faye and I mean it." I cut the line, sliding the phone into pocket and then hugging Faye. The tears streamed down her face. "He doesn't deserve a girl like you. What did he say when he called?" She moved away "He said that he had broken up with me for that slag." Faye seemed to have calmed down. We walked over to their car and Niall dropped us home The drive home was quiet awkward. No one spoke. Once we got home we went home, we went up to my room. Faye went for a shower. I went to tell my mum that we were back. Once I got back to my room after changing after changing into something comfortable Faye was out of the shower. "Thanks for that. I would have never been able to tell him off like that. I'm such a wimp." I went and hugged her. "Don't worry, he doesn't deserve you. Not even in a million years. Just forget about that douchebag."
I went for a shower. The warm water felt great against my skin after a tiring day like today. It was relaxing but I couldn't take too long. Faye was waiting. I finished my shower in under 10 minutes. I ran into my room to change after kicking Faye out. I put on my pink pajama bottoms and a blue tank top. It was about 7.45 in the evening. We went downstairs to eat our dinner. My mum had made a baked pepper chicken and some rice. I was pretty hungry given that I hadn't eaten since lunch. By the time my mum went to sleep and we went back to my room it was almost 9 in the night. We had decided to watch the three step up movies. It was our favorite series. I loved watching it with Faye. Once we were done with it was 2 in the morning. I was tired but I didn't care. This sleepover with Faye took me back to normal times. Before Niall, before Nate, before Mullingar. Just the two of us hanging out to have fun. I loved it.
It was off to sleep for us though. We were going to go shopping tomorrow before Faye had to leave.
