I woke up to the sound of my alarm, I opened my eyes very slightly and turned off the alarm and sat up in my bed. I scratched my head and looked at myself in the mirror on the other side of my room. Ew I look like a dead rat.
"Well, I should get ready for the day huh?" I rubbed my eyes and got out of bed. I went into the bathroom and took a quick shower, after my shower I got changed into denim shorts, a black and white stripped crop top, and some trainers.

After changing, I sat at my desk and did my skin care routine and applied some light makeup. "That looks better!" I smiled and softly smacked my cheeks. My stomach rumbled a couple of times so I decided to walk downstairs to my kitchen and make some cereal for myself. After placing my bowl of cereal on the table, I saw a little note in the middle of it. Out of curiosity of course I picked it up. It was from my Mom
'Good morning sweetheart, me and your father will be going on our honeymoon, we'll be gone for about a week so we hope you'll be okay and please be sure to call me or your dad if there's something you need. Remember be responsible, do the chores and do not do anything stupid that will damage the house or yourself. We love you so much! And we'll miss you. Take care Y/N ♡

I squinted at the piece of paper, they're leaving me here alone? Well I'm sure I can handle it, I'm responsible right?- I put the note in the back pocket of my shorts and texted Y/F/N, my best friend
Me: hey 🅱️🤠
Y/F/N: y/N hEllO
Me: ok so, my parents have left for their honeymoon
Y/F/N: oh really? How long?
Me: one week, one whole fucking week to myself!!
Y/F/N: but Y/N, we have camp this week, from Monday to Sunday morning
After I finished reading what Y/F/N just texted, I remembered, I have to go to camp this week! Oh my god...I'm so stupid honestly- did my parents forget that I'm going? I mean I did tell them me and Y/F/N signed up to go so...I should text my Mom just incase
Me: ONEISHEHDSB OH YEAH I'm gonna go text my mom to see if she still remembers I'm going to camp so I'll ttyl
I texted my Mom after
Me: mom, did you remember that I'm going to camp this week? so I will not be home at all
Mom: oh I completely forgot, but you can't just leave the house without anyone looking after it Y/N
Me: it's fiiiine I can call Grandma to come stay there for the week, she always visits anyways
Mom: alright, well me and your father are at the airport right now so we have to go sort some things out, I love you! Enjoy camp x
Me: bye bye mom, have a nice time <3
I need to ask if my Grandma can look after our house so I scrolled through my contacts until I found my Grandmas number and dialled it.
Me: "Grandma?"
Grandma: "Y/N is this you?"
Me: "yes it's me, I need a favour"
Grandma: "what is it love?"
Me: "so basically, Mom and Dad have already left for their honeymoon for 1 week and I'm going to camp with Y/N/F for the week too and Mom doesn't want the house to be left alone so I was wondering if you could look after the house for a week? You don't really need to stay there of course but I can leave the key out for you and you can visit once in a while and make sure everything is clean, all doors are locked etc, would that be okay? Grandpa can help out too"
Grandma: "of course that would be fine, anything for you and your mother"
Me: "thank you soooo much grandma! I love you and goodluck"
Grandma: "I love you too and have fun with camping"
Me: "I will, bye grandma!"
Grandma: "goodbye love"

After setting everything up for my Grandma, I got kind of tired and I had to wake up early tomorrow to leave for camp so I decided to go to bed. I walked upstairs and put on my pj's and got into bed and shortly fell asleep.
