As I was walking towards the elevator, I felt a hand on my shoulder. "Feather! Lane needs you in his office." I turned around to see Jordan all sweaty. "Why?"
"I don't know but he sounds irritated. But I gotta go see you later!" Jordan said hurriedly.
Irritated? Since when does Mr. Lane sound irritated? I mean I didn't do anything bad lately and- oh wait. I face palmed myself. Shit, he must have found out. I wanted to tell him I was moving back to Korea, where my dad is, but I was low-key scared for this moment right now.
While thinking about the possible scenarios that were to be unfolded, I stop right in front of his office. "MR. LANE TEAM MANAGER," the door read. I shook my head and walked into his office. As I shut the door, Mr. Lane was doing some paperwork for the upcoming event for his client. "Jordan said you needed to see me." I said. He nods and points to the chair in front of his desk.
"Why didn't you tell me?" he asked. I fiddled with my fingers and thought what I should say next.
"So when are you leaving?"
"In three weeks."
"You have a job when you get there?"
"As of right now no, but I'll find one.''
"How long are you going to keep on with this 'eventually' statement?
I looked at him in confusion. "What do you mean?"
"Feather, I am just worried of where you are going to be in the next five years. Your 24, you have a degree in literature, which you have a passion for, yet you've been working at this company for 4 years. When are you going to bloom? You don't got much time life before you settle permanently with the lifestyle you're living."
"Awe, Mr. Lane stop being so over-melodramatic," I laughed. "I'll be fine, right now I'm going to go back and be closer with my dad. I'll find a new job there, and earn the money so my dad and I can live a comfortable life. I mean, what else is there to it?"
"Just.. Just make sure you are happy. Be selfish for once and do what you want when you can, because its annoying how you always are helping others out and all that typical weird stuff you do on the daily.''
"Isn't that a good thing?"
"You make me cringe sometimes. But we are going to miss you, really. Especially Jordan, with his over-sentimental ass about to cry like them weird shows you guys."
"K-Dramas."
"Yeah no. Not interested."
I busted out laughing after hearing Mr. Lane clown Jordan. He always has something to say about him. They always been there for me and I'm gonna miss them too. Well, I won't miss Mr. Lane's over-demanding ass and Jordan slow mentality.
"Well, you should get back to work." he said.
"Thank you Mr. Lane. Sincerely thank you for hiring me even if you didn't want to. Now I have memories I can hold in and treasure."
"Lets not do that. I'm getting second-hand embarrassment."
"Your the one talking Mr. make sure your happy Feather," I said we fake sobs.
"Ok out of my office or I'll kick you out myself."
When I opened the door, Jordan was standing there with a stacks of papers, looking very annoyed. "Oh now I'm an over-sentimental ass now huh?" he scoffed. I busted out laughing as he pushed me with his shoulders and shut the door behind him.

"JORDAN. Breath in and out ok? Breath innn and outttt." I calmly demand.
"This is ass. Like no joke. This is pure ass."
"Don't you dare cry. You over-sentimental-"
"Who do you think I am?! You should be the one crying. Watch, you're gonna regret leaving me behind. I'm the FOUNDATION of your life. Got it?"
"Mhmmm sure," I said while hugging him.
We walking around until that simple announcement boomed over the intercom. "Flight 94 board for Incheon, South Korea. Flight 94 board for Incheon, South Korea."
I said goodbye to Jordan and a few other co-workers of mine. Of course Jordan balled liked the end of the world was happening. But I can't say anything because I cried like a little baby. Ugh, my life is a cringe cycle.
As I was walking across the jet bridge, my phone notification bell went off. FURRY-BALL: 3 unread messages.

Wait. How does he know this? When did he see my song? I swear Mr. Lane is one sly man.
As I thought on how he knew my secret, I got on the plane and sat down. I clicked on the link Mr. Lane sent me. I saw a picture of 7 korean guys in some kind of box in a weird position. Wait minute, that's BTS. I obviously heard of them since they are well known worldwide. I'm not gonna lie and say I don't listen to their music because I do. The lyrics and deep meanings and messages they put in their songs are interesting. It so obvious they use literature references throughout their music. Also, they all really attractive, can dance, sing, rap, and make me feel even more lonely since I can't imagine being with men like them.
I scrolled down to see a message below.

Nah. Why would I do this? They might think I'm some crazy fan just trying to get a job with BTS. Then again I can't say I'm not fan, because like come on. You would be lying to yourself if you say your not.
