Olivia's POV.
"Okay, well there's money on the counter. Oh and dont forget to tell Emily how thankful I am for her, got it?" my mom said as she walked out the door. She was going on a trip to Europe with her new husband and I have to stay with her best friend since we have no family around us.
"Yes mom, I'll tell Emily you said thanks," I said, waving at her from the kitchen. I'd only met her friend at a few buisness parties my mom had had but my mom told me a bit about her. She doesnt have a husband, he passed away a few years ago so I'm not supposed to mention that. She has triplets but my mom doesn't know their ages. She is an amazing cook, but she's always out late so she's rarely home for dinner. Thats pretty much it.
I went to my room and started to pack my bag while dancing around to Blink 182, All The Small Things. I packed all my jeans and all my band t-shirts, since my moms trip was for two months. I don't know how she possibly got Emily to agree to keeping me for two months, especially during the school year. I packed my toiletries, makeup, and my laptop. I zupped up my suitcase and headed down to the living room to wait. She's supposed to be here at 5:00 and its already 4:45. I turn on the tv and watch the ending to a new episode of 'Excused' and laugh at all the jokes Liza makes.
The doorbell rings and I turn off the tv and living room lights and head out to the door. I open it and Emily is standing there with a huge smile plastered on her face.
"Olivia! So good to see you again!," she says and I nod my head smiling.
"You too, and I go by Liv," I told her and she nidded her head, walking towards her car.
"We can come and pick your car up later, but I wanted to pick you up so I could warn you about all the madness you will most likely experience these two months, " she laughed and I out my suitcase in the trunk. I shut it and headed over to the passenger seat and got in
"Okay so it can get a little bit stressful with three boys and a girl in the hiuse, just letting you know," she said and I nodded. She looked pretty young so I asumed her kids were maybe 13-15 ish. I'm 17 so I think I could handle them.
"Alright, are you going to need me to drive them to school or something? Anything to help out," I asked.
"Oh no," she laughed, "the triplets are 17, turning eighteen next month," she explained.
"Oh, I just thought they were younger. You look really young," I said and she smiled.
"Well thank you," she replied. "We can come oick your car uo later today after your all unpacked so you have something to get to school in tomorrow."
"Yeah, okay," I said. The rest of the ride was pretty silent except for the radio and I looked out the window at the house as we pulled into a drive way. It was pretty big and had a lot of windows, there was probably three floors, maybe four, and there was a huge flower garden out front. I opened my door and grabbed my suitcase from the trunk.
When we opened the door and I stepped in I could already hear yelling.
"Harry, fuck off!" one yelled.
"Oh my god, do you guys ever stop fighting?" another said, a little quieter.
"No!" two of them yelled at the same time.
"Boys! We have company, plesse keep it down," Emily yelled from the doorway and they all mumbled "okaaaaay". I laughed and looked at her and she just smiled and rolled her eyes. "Alright, so heres the living room, heres the main floor bathroom and heres the kitchen," she said as we walked through the house. "Down those stairs is the main entertainment area and Edwards room. Here, come upstairs and I'll show you where you'll be staying."
