After resting a day, Shoto, once again, training with his father. It was harder again, "To make up for that one day." as Enji said,

It was currently nearing midnight, Shoto's in the middle of his slumber when he was woken up because he needs to go to the comfort room.

He gets out of bed and opened the door. As he steps out, he closed it again and walk down the halls.

He saw the lights seeping out of an open door. He walks slowly as he yawned and scratch his eyes.

"M-mom.." Shoto heard as he passes by the kitchen, "I.. I think I might be gone crazy. I... I can't take it anymore... Every day, the kids.. They got more and more like... Like him."

He stopped on his tracks and backs away a little as he peeks in the kitchen. He saw her mom with the heated kettle as she talked to the phone.

"S-shoto's.. That child's left side... " his heart pounded, what's her mom thinking about him? "...sometimes looks hideous to me! "

W-what?

"I.. I can't take care of him anymore... If I raise him now, it'll be bad..."

"–M..mom..?"

Her mother looked back slowly, her heart started beating fast and her breathing fasten.

'Who would it be now?' Someone heard what she said...

As soon as she looked down at the half-open door, she snapped. Why?! Why.. why that?!

She saw Shoto's.. Shoto's left side... The one that his husband resembles, that red hair and his blue eyes!

Why is it his left side that she has to see and not the right side that resembles her?!

As she looked longer to his face, it slowly reminds her of Endeavor's face. Her heart started racing as her breath hitched, she, then, suddenly remembers all of Endeavor's doings....

'Hideous'

Is the only word describes it all.

*Whistles*

As if on instinct, as soon as she heard the kettle's whistle. She quickly grabbed it without thinking and threw it straight on her son's face.

Shouto's eyes instinctively closed as the hot water poured down into his left face that's peeking from the door.

"A-ah.. Aaah–!"
