8. The Talk

Cate goes to Christopher's apartment to talk Christopher opens the door

"Well, Miss Blanchett, what a lovely surprise" Christopher says as he opens the door for her to come in

"What is this" Cate ask as she touches Christopher's hair that's wrapped up in a scarf

"Funkyness" Christopher answers as he closes the door

"What brings you by Miss Cate"

"Well, I wanted to talk, were is Tricky?" Cate asks looking around

"He's out with some friends"

"Oh, well, I wanted to talk about the Gala today, are you coming?"

"What Gala"

"It's just some party my friends throwing, and I was asking cause I would be shocked if I didn't see you there, knowing you loooooove to party" Cate says with a smirk

"Would you?" Christopher ask with a sly smile

"Don't get funny, there's another thing I wanted to ask you"

"What"

"Was that you in my bedroom last night a 1 in the morning" Cate ask with a sly smirk

"Who wants to know" Christopher ask smirking

"Why did you come"

"Oh, I'm not the one who called asking me what I was doing and what I would if I was there" Christopher says with his hand on his chest

"And I wasn't the one who was thinking about "Sex" Cate says catching Christopher off guard

"I will be there in 30 minutes" Christopher says surprised by her outburst

"Ok, see you, Christopher Columbus" Cate says as she walks out

"ITS TRACY, NOT COLUMBUS, CHRISTOPHER TRACY" Christopher yells before shutting the door

30 minutes later

Cate's is waiting at at The Gala talking to her friends as she waits for Christopher

"This party is AMAZING don't you think?!?!" Sofia ask

"Yes, it's quite unique" I say looking away and spot Christopher pulling up in his Corvette

"Excuse me, girls" I say walking away as Christopher walk in my direction

"Well, well, well, Miss Cate, are you surprised I'm here?" Christopher ask with a smirk

"Very, considering this party is not that pleasant"

"Oh, so you looking for a real party now, huh?"

"Stop, how come your not talking to alot of other girls at this party?"

"Cause, I'm here for you, and you only"

I look at him surprised

"I have a question"

"Yes" I ask

"Will you ever consider going out with me tomorrow?"

"Really, like really, me?"

"Yes, I only asked you, not Rosa Parks"

"Don't get funny, yes I will see how perfect you can be"

He leans in and kisses me on my cheek as I blush

"Dont blush, it make me feel giddy"

"Good, see you tomorrow" I say walking away as Christopher pulls off
