Fires of a Hero (Bonked/Discontinued)

We all know how quirks are estimated to manifest at the age 4, everyone knows that.

Children were always excited when they reached their 4th birthday, they always wish for a cool quirk.

Some children get their wishes granted, getting 'cool' , and 'flashy' quirks,
Some get their wish for a quirk but the quirk they got weren't flashy or cool,
Then there's the small group of children who don't get a quirk at all.

Izuku Midoriya, a boy with dark green hair, knew his quirk was coming.

The boy lived with his mother, Inko Midoriya, in an apartment in the area of Musutafu.

Izuku always loved heroes, especially All Might, the Number 1 Hero and The Symbol Of Peace,
His room was filled with All Might posters and what-not.

He was always smiling,
Though, everything changed when...

Izuku, at the age 4 at the time, woke up at 3 AM when he heard a scream from the living room.

He unconsciously ran to the living room to see... A blonde man with a sword, saying a line from The Bible, and his mother on the floor, covered in blood and lifeless.

"Mom?" Said Izuku as tears started falling from his eyes.

"A child... Possibly, 'his' son..." Said the man as he approached Izuku.

"No, stay back!" Shouted Izuku, as he backed up to the wall.

"Orders were to kill every family member, including their spawn..." The man audibly mumbled, as he raised his sword, ready to strike...

"May the Lord have mercy on you..." Whispered the man as he slashes Izuku.

At that moment, Izuku's short life flashed before his eyes, but something inside him snapped...

Izuku let out a roar, as he stopped the sword with his bare hands but his hands started bleeding...

He looked at the man with pure anger towards him, the sword was set on fire by blue flames...

"I-it was true!" Exclaimed the man,
"You're the son of-" He was cut off by him dying by getting scorched by blue flames...

Izuku's blue eyes looked feral, but quickly returned to normal...

Seeing what he just did, 'Is this... My quirk?' He thought, it was cool but it didn't matter as he saw his mother on the floor.

He ran over to her body and started shaking it...

"Mom! Wake up!" Izuku, at this point, was crying really hard.

He started crying even harder, making the flames on his body to get stronger, starting to set the building on fire.

But then a man wearing, what seems to be a black coat, ran inside, grabbing Izuku and quickly going outside.

"Kid, you okay?"  Said the man in black, as his flames were off, though their apartment and the building were on fire

Izuku just looked at him, the man had a pointed amulet, round glasses and grey hair, indicating that he was probably old.

"It's okay... I'm here..." Was the last thing he heard before blacking out.

Ever since then, he was broken, but he learned to cope with them and lived with his saviour in a monastery

The man's name, Fujimoto Shiro, took care of Izuku, raising him like a son.
