you and freddie had been good friends, he had invited you to the bar where his favourite band would be playing, after a few drinks and cigarettes passed through you system you decided to let loose and dance along the people on the dance floor listening to the band playing, the music pumped through your ears, the vibrations passing through you body like it's a kind of magic (ooooh reference) you grabbed freddie's hand and dragged him closer to the front attracting rogers attention as he took small glances towards you every now and then, often receiving a cheeky smirk, freddie had noticed the two of you smiling at each other through the night and by the end freddie knew what he had to do.
after the show freddie was leading you out back so you could meet his favourite band, the one you still didn't know the name of, "y/n this is the band smile" "hello boys" you gave a mischievous smirk towards them, they could tell you were slightly intoxicated, "y/n this is tim, brian, and roger" freddie said pointing to each boy, they greeted her in a similar way, roger couldn't keep his eyes off of you as if you were his own property, or at least he wanted her to be

"so where is tim" freddie asked wanting to meet the guy "well you missed him, he quit the band 10 minuets ago" roger snarls "well then you'll be needing a new lead?" freddie perks his eyebrow "were over now no more smile" brian adds "no, no, it doesn't have to be" as if on queue freddie started to sing, you were astonished you didn't know that freddie could sing, to that ability you were so shocked as were the others "you're in freddie mate" brian says very cheerfully "can you do anything like that" roger cast his eyes to you waiting for you to answer him "no, i'm afraid not" you look down to your feet, roger continues to look you up and down "hey freddie how about we go and get another drink and leave these two alone"
