'One last high, then I'll be fine.' you thought. 'I'll be over it soon. No one can tell if I used or not..' You took out the little baggy from your purse that held your prized possession. You looked at the white powder, then dropped a few shakings onto the glass coffee table. You lined up a perfect line, the without another thought, you snorted in the drug. It felt so wonderful and exotic to you. It made you feel so hyper and so full of energy. It felt as though you could do anything all at once.
It was this feeling that made you feel infinite. It made you feel empowering and great. This was the feeling you missed the most. You stood to your feet very quickly, rubbing your face. You glanced behind you a few times to make sure you were alone. Paranoia began to set in, just like how you expected. You rubbed your eyes, and set in a voice into your head. 'Why did you use again?' 'Andy won't love you anymore.' 'Who the fuck would love a druggy?' 'You've disappointed everyone now.' 'You are a failure!!' You then let out an intense scream.
You turned, seeing a worried Andy at the front door. "(Y/N)?" He said, pretty loud. He had just came from the grocery store, hence why his lanky arms carried bags full of food. You stood there, shock painted all over your face. Andy then threw down the bags and hurried over to you, placing his hands on each side of your face. His blue eyes starred deep into your eyes. You twitched more times than one at that point.
"Get away from me! The voices will hear you!" Andy heard your voice and his face turned into complete disgust. He let go of your face and turned the other way. He looked ashamed. "How could you? You were doing so well!" Andy then noticed the rest of the bag of crack on the coffee table. He grabbed it and faced you again. "HOW LONG DID YOU HAVE THIS SHIT??" You started to shake and twitch more. Andy didn't give you much time to answer, instead he threw the bag down on the coffee table and shook his head. "Why was I so stupid to believe you'd change.."
Reality set in and you began to bawl. This was so painful. Where did you go wrong. You suddenly fell to the floor and bawled hysterically. "I'm so so so so sorry, Andy! I just wanted a little hit to get off the edge! PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME. I WANT TO CHANGE!! THE VOIIIICCCEEESSS, ANDY! THE VOICES!!" Andy stared at you and then held you in his arms. Tears suddenly began to fall from Andy's face.
"I love you," he mumbled into your shoulder. He grabbed your face like before and stared back into your eyes. "Listen, (Y/N), you'll get through this, I promise. You're strong and can overpower this. As long as I'm with you, I'll be here with every step. I love you too much to see you crumble."
