Hogwarts Adventures (Marauders Era)

Chapter 3

(A/N I skipped to the summer before fifth year)
P.O.V Hazel

It's the middle of summer and the annual stupid pureblood meeting is in one week. It's this big fancy ball that the Malfoys set up. They invite all the Slytherin purebloods and they discuss how much they hate muggles; how good their children; and one of the worst ones are wedding arrangements. Luckily for me none of the families want their son to marry me.

Today the Malfoys and Blacks are coming over. What sucks is the fact that their children comes along. I have to deal with Lucius, Bellatrix, Regulus, and Narcissa; plus my sister always has Severus Snape over. They all just get a kick out of annoying me. The only bright side is that Sirius comes along as well.

"Hey Sirius!" I said once I saw him.

"Hey Hazey"

I blushed at the nickname that I once hated. It's probably worth mentioning that I have had a massive crush on Sirius since second year.

"Aw look!" Bellatrix shrieked. "Hazel's got herself a boyfriend. Fitting since they are both blood traitors"

"Shove it Bella. Hazel isn't my bloody girlfriend." Sirius said to her. "If anyone has a crush on her it's Regulus."

I looked at Regulus and he was red.

"Aw look he's even blushing" Sirius said pointing at his brother.

I rolled my eyes. "Sirius stop tormenting your brother," I started to pull him away.

"I don't need you to defend me you blood traitor!" Regulus said.

Instead of answering I just continue to walk away.

"That's right! Walk away you bloody coward!" I heard Lucius say.

This time I walked up towards him with my wand in my hand. "You wanna say that to my face Malfoy?"

"I....Um..."

"That's what I thought..." I tried to walk away again but suddenly I fell down in immense pain.

P.O.V Sirius

"That's what I thought..." Hazel said.

"Crucio" I heard Snivilus whisper pointing his want at her.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH" Hazel screamed.

"Hazel!" I ran to her and pointed my wand at Snape. "Call it off!"

"I don't know what you are talking about" he said smirking.

I got up and put my wand against his forehead. "Call. The. Spell. Off. I doubt Lily would like to know that you killed her best friend."

This got him to glare at me, but call it of nonetheless. I picked Hazel up and took her to her room.

"Hazel? Hazel wake up please" I put her into her bed and tried to heal her using some spells.

"Siri?"

"Hazel! Thank Merlin you woke. If you didn't I would have killed the bloody snake I swear."

"Sirius!" Regulus came into her room.

"What do you want!" I said glaring at him.

"Mum says we have to go home now..."

"I'm not leaving her!"

"Sirius it's fine. Don't annoy your mother more then you already do." Hazel said.

"But"

"No buts! I'll see you next week at the ball." She smiled.

And with that I left with Regulus.
